Kirikayan is a very nice little Boutique Resort with very nice rooms and Asian style decor, The bedroom is roomy and the bed big enough for 2 adults 1 child. Breakfast is good with the ordinary egg station and a selection of fruits and some food, some days they have half buffet other days full buffet breakfast. The staff is friendly and smiley. They have a little/medium size pool with a pool bar, The hotel is a bit on the end of Chaweng, almost Chaweng Noi so if you want to shop get ready to walk or take a tuk tuk (bus) but make sure to ask for the price before to jump in, a regular price to move around Chaweng varies 30/40 THB. The hotel has DVD s to borrow as well and free wifi. The minus is the beach, it is nice but too many water scooters right in front of it which makes it dangerous for swimmers. That is a regular problem on Koh Samui but Chaweng it is INVADED by that mafia. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very nice resort, the reception lady who on duty on 20th June 2013 was really helpful, I lost my iphone on the car, she helped us to contact many ways trying to find my iphone back, although finally we failed, but I d like to thanks that lady again!

We stayed at this hotel 2.5 years ago and when I look back at my raving review then, it is clear this hotel has lost its polish. At that time, I compared it to the Buri Rasa, which we have also stayed out, but it has now fallen well behind which is very dissapointing. It is still very pretty with nice rooms and has a great location on the best part of the beach, but that something extra is just missing which I think is the service. I think it is clear in the recent reviews that the sparkle has gone and I really hope they get it back as it would not take a lot. The staff just seem to need some direction and management. When we stayed here, the water pump went wrong so we had no water in the rooms for two days. I do understand these things can happen, but the way the staff just pretended the problem did not exist really was not satisfactory. Also, the pool towels did turn up eventally or you can help yourself to the housekeeping cupboards which we eneded up doing, but again aren t quite there when you need there. It s all the little points that are just missing. Please Kirikayan get that Thai smile back and get this hotel back to what it was just over two years ago as there is a lot going for this hotel, but if they do not, I think there are better hotels at this price. The one point I can recommend here though are the massages that they have in the huts in the hotel which are excellent value and very good. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Excellent. Although the hotel totally ignored the water problem, Sawadee took this up with management upon our request and obtained a refund of one night for us. They were very responsive and helpful and we would not have got anyway without them. I would highly recommend their professional service and they will now be my first choice booking agent

On the far end of chaweng beach but the location is still convenient. The deluxe room was nice and good enough. Not worth getting the room with jacuzzi which does not offer any much privacy. Breakfast selection is limited with not much choice. Hotel offers good service and staff were very helpful! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We have reserved the room with bath tub. The room is big but we have only limited space for storage as the big bath tub. It is good to have the big tub but we finally find the tub is really dirty. I suggest you do not take the bath in the tub... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

we enjoyed our stay at the resort,very friendly staff,always happy to help,i left my safe open by mistake and the maid found me and took me back to the room to close,very trust worthy,we stayed in the deplux suites,found there was not enough hanging space,you had to hang the clothes in the bathroom,rooms could be better designed,felt the big bath was a waste.breakfast would be better if there was more selection,not enough fruit.would i go back,not sure,would probably try another hotel,beach and sea are great.found pool to difficult to get into.but all round we enjoyed the holiday, i would give hotel a 3 star rating. Отдыхали в этом отеле с подругой и детьми. Очень понравилось!!! Отель новый! очень уютный, зеленая территория, тихо, спокойно, персонал очень приветливый. Русских не было. Номера были шикарные (картинка в точности), убирались каждый день очень хорошо. Мебель новая, не обшарпанная (для нас это было очень важно.) Пляж в минуте, белый песок. Лежаки и зонтики бесплатно. Вход в океан идеальный. Огромный пляж, на котором много ресторанчиков. Вечерами ходили туда ужинать, очень все вкусно. (1000 бат, примерно 1000 руб. Ужин: креветки, рыба, краб, рис, 2 б.пива и б.вина примерно 3000 бат.) Их местное пиво очень вкусное. Завтрак обычный (фрукты, яйца, сыр.. каш нет.) Тем кто поедет с детьми, рекомендую взять кашу с собой и например в обед ее заваривать. Так как в магазинах мы кашу не нашли, а супы все были достаточно острые для детей, хотя просили без специй. Магазины, аптека, обмен валюты, все в шаговой доступности. Очень вкусные молочные продукты. Детям перед сном каждый день давали молоко и творог. Нас пугали, что все нужно тщательно мыть и только бутилированной водой. Это ерунда!!!! Мы все мыли обычной водой из-под крана, чистили зубы только бутилированной водой (в номере две бутылки каждый день бесплатно, только уточните какие). Никаких насекомых не было, спали спокойно. Огромное спасибо нашему консультанту Антону из Asiahotels.ru, он в точности выполнил все наши требования, отдых замечательный, очень рекомендую. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Friendly front desk who helped me retrieve a battery charger which I left at my previous hotel upon checkout. Small hotel, but got a nice beach-side deck with chairs. Lobby smells nice. Fresh coconut welcome-drink. Our room was near the lobby and street, so it was noisy from the bars across the street until 2am or so. Hotel food/ breakfast buffet can be better, but not bad for Samui standard. Overall a good budget hotel with style. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel is in the far south end of Chaweng, perfect for us to get out of the busy pubs & bars. Yet the hotel location is still walkable to the busy part of Chaweng. I stay in the delux room (2 storey), the room is good and nice.I have only one disappointment, that is it does not have a TV on the 2nd storey bedroom so we have to watch the movie on level 1 only moreover the bathtub is place on the living room, wierd and it occupy lots of space leaving little room for us to put our brlonging. The hotel should consider installing a TV on level 2 bedroom as well as removing the bathtub and repalce it with a table or cupboard. The staff is friendly and helpful, so far the best service I have ever encounter among all hotels in Thailand. Would recommend this hotel to friends

Amazing Location on the beach, Very Very warm welcome by the staff, The quickest check in time I ve ever seen, Very friendly crew, always smiling and warmly welcoming any request. The designe and room setup is just fantastic, They make up your room anytime you walk out the door (almost 3 times/day)I strongly reccomend this resort and definitly the sunrise suite though I think a little bit expensive. The only problem I had was the Wi Fi internet ant the front (beach front) rooms was bad but it was very good 2 rooms backwards. We stayed for 3 nights and were upgraded to the duplex suite free of charge. This hotel is fairly new (opened early 2010 I believe) so the furnishings are good/new and rooms are well-maintained. The room toilet is very nice and rooms are decorated in the trendy/boutique hotel style. We had a Hollywood-style bed in our room (the loft area) which was extremely comfortable. Service is very good and staff are attentive - they were quick to sort out any issues e.g. brought us a mosquito burner at 3am, after which the mosquitoes never bothered us again, and sorted out our DVD problems within minutes. Kirikayan is on the quieter side of Chaweng beach, about 8-10 mins car ride from the popular bar/restaurant area; hence it s less noisy and food/massage/clothes prices are lower. But it s still close enough to walk or take a car ride to these places. One end of the hotel opens to a beautiful beach. Kirikayan is perfect for couples or families, less so for single travelers or those looking to party. At it s price point, this is arguably the best value for money in Chaweng.
