We had a perfectly relaxing holiday at the Movenpick. The resort has a quiet, calming ambience, especially when sipping drinks while watching the spectacular sunsets. The long swimming pool is great for swimming exercise and the other pool and splash are ideal for families. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean and the gardens are well maintained, with a variety of flowers and shrubs. The food is very good, with choices of Thai and Western cuisine. The staff are very friendly and helpful and alwyas give a hearty welcome. We have stayed stayed here many times and will be returning again soon. Highly recommended.

The bufett on Sylvester evening was Boring and expensive. Your Houskeeping didn t clean The Room. If they stay less then 5 minutes in The Room, so it s nothing.

Hotel very nice and offers But the staff at reception, knows nothing. It offers nothing! We needed to move us and taxis are expensive, minimum 750Bath this is hasar we knew he rented scooters, otherwise their first goals and make you expenses in taxis. the hotel is very far from downtown

Fantastic everything. Far from the madding crowd. Low tide was great time for kids to walk out safely in search of marine life. Fish (we were lucky to spot a bat fish even!) , prawns, crabs, urchins (wear those shoes when wading. This sea is not for swimming is for wading and marine life lovers. Staff v professional. Mistakes were made wrt tour booking but handled well and with apologies. Food at the terrace reasonably priced for its quality. Very delicious, great cook. Breakfast buffet spread simple but varied enough for different palates. Only mild downside was bc we were located far west, some tour agencies that usually provide free transfers don t come to pick us up and we have to pay for transport out via the hotel. Pools were great. Staff very friendly professional and capable. Highly recommended. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Prompt and professional. Easy booking. Only downside was I was charged in foreign dollar which means I end up paying a bit more for double foreign transaction.

A quiet resort on the quiet side of the island, but just what we wanted at the time! Beautiful beach that our room looked over (room 101 - 2 bedrooms).

Beautiful resort with great facilities. A little pricey but the quality is good. They have amazing cocktails and the bartender is fantastic ( friendly, helpful and always willing to share amazinf snack and drink receipies ). The cleaning and gardening staff are also very friendly. The rest of the staff were polite and you couldn t fault them but after being in thailand for a few weeks already I had become used to the normal thai service levels. I didn t mind the hotel but it lacked the warmth you normally have at thai resorts. I didn t, however, like the receptionist who was constantly rude and surley. Everything we enquired about or requested from her was made out to be a huge effort. We also noticed on our final morning when packing that there were what looked like mouse droppings in the corner of the room. We informed her of this and suggested house cleaning or maitenance take a closer look. Her reply was to fill in the questionair when we get home. We gently repeated the story thinking she had misunderstood us but her reply was that they didn t have those issues and if we feel we must include it in our questionair, we must add it there. My parents also stayed at this resort but on different days and they too had issues with the receptionist ( who I think may also be a manager ). My parents did however tell me that the bike rental company at the resort were superb and highly recommended [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very good hotel! The best view and service. Very clear and quite. Far from crowd of people. But there are free shuttle buses to Nathong and Chaweng beaches every day. They will get you there and back with luxury comfort.

EXCELLENT all round and an absolute oasis of calm. The hotel was outstanding - great service, fantastic food and great location - away from the crowds and on the beach and with easy access to the other busier areas of the island by scooter. The staff here work really hard and it shows. A great week in the beach villa and we look forward to returning. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The passage is manage by Tommy who is a man very professionnel and who cares about the comfort of his clients. This guy make a very good job and is really appreciable. That gives the hotel a taste of perfection.

Hotel is located very nicely on the North-West coast. No other tourists on the beach, only hotel guests, which have been very few at the time we have been there. You can see nice sunset from the restaurant, beach or any of the beachfront villas. Staff is very friendly with all requests. You can rent car/motorbike etc. We had a beachfront villa, which is wonderfull, waking up in the morning with the view over the pool and to the beach. The resort has a very long pool which is also good if you want to swim, not just bath. The spa is also worth visiting, but more expensive compared to the ones outside of the resorts. My husband and I had an excellent stay at The Passage. Our standard garden view villa was all that we needed to feel private with space and we found the room very comfortable. Deco was great. It was a very quiet hotel which is what we needed and wanted. The biggest draw back was the beach. There was lots of dead coral and debris on the beach so there was no way you could take long walks.
