Beautiful hotel in a great location. The villa is just beautiful and has the most luxurious bedding. Rare in Thailand. The room had its own private plunge pool, perfect to cool down. The breakfast was delicious and can be served in your room or by the pool. The hotel is set in gorgeous tropical gardens lit up at night with fairy lights everywhere. Magical. Staff and management were outstanding, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect 3 day stay at this great little hotel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Zara Beach Resort is beautiful. The individual villas are secluded within gardens yet only a stones throw from the coral sand beach of Lamai. They are located at the quiet end of Lamai which is perfect for a peaceful holiday but within a 10 minute walk of all the bars if you want to experience the nightlife. The staff are friendly, rooms are cleaned daily if required with fresh towels and bedding as often as you like. Breakfast is available (and included) daily where you can choose from American style, Continental, Thai or fruit based food which is prepared for each guest individually. The plunge pools are a great addition and are perfect for cooling off in the heat of the day if you don t want to swim in either the sea or resort pool. There was an amazing shower room which was plenty big enough to share with my husband especially with the rainfall shower. The beds are at least kingsize (by UK standards) and very comfortable being firm but not too firm. Air conditioning and fans were in both the living area and bedroom which allowed for lots of flexibility for comfort. There is also a lovely street market on Sundays right outside the resort (as well as neighbouring streets) where I would recommend the mushroom soup and BBQ pork skewers! There is a vast array of food, drink, clothes and tourist items on sale, all are good value but the food especially so. We visited during the rainy season and had some quite heavy downpours on around half the days we stayed but to be honest, it was welcome as it brought the temperature down and kept the mosquito s away! I would heartily recommend Zara Beach Resort and would definitely stay there again. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Stayed for 6 nights and were pleasantly surprised by Zara beach resort after reading some of the reviews. Was very good value for money and the villa we stayed in was very nice. About a 10 minute walk into the center or busiest part of Lamai so was in a quiet location. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had a fantastic time at Zara Beach Resort. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! The villas are beautiful. We were upgraded to a villa with its own plunge pool. I would highly recommend Zara to anyone. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Could be a great hotel but the hotel has been done a little on the cheap side and it shows. Lovely place but would want to see some improvements or lower rates before heading back.

This is our second stay at Zara. We love it and will return. It s close enough to the action but a great retreat. They staff are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a great one.

Given we had stayed at Zara before, we felt we were kept at at arms length from Zara. Given we were travelling with teenage children, I felt that my special requests were not treated by the booking agent in the same way Zara would have handled it.

There is a great deal Of construction going on at the resort at the moment which is very noisy. The construction site is viewable from most villas. It is not a very pretty site and definitely wasn t expecting it when we arrived which sort of ruined our relaxed moods. Not very much privacy, I opened the window to our pool when I woke up to find one of the workers on our balcony staring back at me. No restaurant because of the construction. Rooms were nice, though not all windows had curtains and you could see directly into the next villa, even from the bathroom. Friendly service though. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

酒店的服务很热情，但有些小细节也有不注意的情况发生，比如打扫后毛巾漏放，泳池的水过滤系统没开之类。地理位置还比较方便，去沙滩也很近，但沙滩质量一般，往南走点稍微会好些。房间性价比很高，服务人员都很好，还有一只叫BEN的狗狗，我爱这里。 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had the most terrifying experience at Zara. I am pregnant and can you imagine the horror, when the door connecting to the lounge area in the villa- almost fell on me. The door was slightly bigger than the frame and one day when I tried to open the door, the door came out of the hinges. If it were not for my husband, the heavy door would have come down on me! To add to this traumatic experience, the hotel decided to charge us for damage of property! We have never had an experience like this and would suggest travelers to be wary of such things.

In general the place is OK regarding price/service however something should improve like: -Bad smell coming from a river crossing the resort. - Management stile sometimes not so fair aptitude. As an actual strenth staff there was so friendly [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I have to say we enjoyed the hotel very much,prime central location in Lamai directly on the beach,infinity pool is so nice,service was very prompt & personal the staff was so helpfull & nice - a negative point was breakfast ! - as its still soft openinig the breakfast was served by a third party which - so book without Breakfast and walk around there r plenty of nice places serving goo breakfast down the road ;)) i assume also something is wrong in he construction of the place as there s no phone in rooms,and some lizards can be in u villa unnoticed ;)) One thing you should try is the Caffe Latte on the pool bar - we naed it (NOI - LATTE) after the sweetest bar tender we met NOI,you also should enjoy the local massage place Golden Hands u should ask for Yo,Wa & Kat and enjoy Thai & Oil massage on the beach with ur fav music Overall we both liked the place and we woul recommend it !
