Staff were very helpful and friendly with ample breakfast but no lunch or dinner available and no cooking facility in the Pool Villa where I stayed. There are full kitchen facilities in the 3 main villas however. Pool Villas 1-3 and 6-7 don t have much privacy with balconies overlooking them, but 4-5 are pretty good.
Although they charge to pickup from airport (cheaper than a taxi) they are more than happy to transport you to the centre of town (approx 5 minute drive) and return to resort on request and take you to the airport when you leave at no charge. You can also hire cars or Vespa type motorbikes for a reasonable fee from them.
They also own Montien House in the centre of Chaweng Beach and you are able to use their facilities if you want. It is also the default drop off/ pick up point to Pawanthorn.
Pawanthorn would be a great place for a wedding and/or honeymoon with a function centre overlooking the beach.
