To whom it may concern, Hello, I would like to complain about my stay at the Buri Chaweng Resort, Koh Samui. This is my 6 th trip to Thailand that I book with you, and it is the first time I complain. As you can see from my booking history, we ve stayed at the Buri Chaweng Resort in the past: at 2015, 2013 and 2011. We chose to stay there again, for the 4 th time, as it had always been a nice Hotel with good stuff and good service. This year, at the last moment, we decided to come with our children and we knew that we will need to pay extra for the room for them. That is what we ve done at Railay Beach, Nanyuan and Koh Tao: each hotel asked for extra 200 Bath per child per night. We declared to each hotel about the children and payed the extra payment. We ve done the same at the Buri Chaweng Resort, but unfortunately the women at the front desk, Miss Apple, told us we can t stay at the room together with our children. I offered to pay the extra payment, she said we can add only one child in cost of 500 Bath per night. It is important to mention, that all the previous hotels asked for 200 Bath per night per child (Nanyuan 300 Bath per child). We offered to pay 1000 Bath extra per night, but she refused and told us that we must take an extra room for 3,500 Bath per night. We explained that we can t afford it. I asked her to cancel the reservation and we all will leave and stay at another hotel, but she told me that she can t do that and I should speak to my agent. Unfortunately we had to separate: my wife stayed at the Hotel with our two children and we payed extra 2,500 Bath for them and I had to leave and stay at night with a friend at a nearby hotel. Miss Apple said that if I was to use any of the hotel facilities (such as the pool), I would have to pay extra too. After two days separated, she called my wife s room and told her that she took food from breakfast to the room. My wife explained that it never happened and she never took anything. She told her that if she will not come to the reception she will call the police. She told us that the demand came directly from her manger but when we asked to talk to him she said we can t do that. My wife was very upset. Miss Apple accused my wife in stilling from the breakfast. Now, after 2 days she asked us to pay extra 2500 Bath for me to stay in the room with my family, (this was what we asked for at the beginning and she refused). We asked to speak with the manager but she said we can t and we must pay. We tried to explain that I wasn’t in the room for the last two days and that my wife never took food to the room. In the end we paid 2000 Bath after Miss Apple shouted at me and my wife at the front desk in front of other guests and the staff. We ve been accused in stilling and being dishonest. We were so disappointed, that we almost haven’t stayed at the hotel and didn t use the facilities. Every day we ve been outside in activity or at the beach. We didn’t buy anything from the hotel and I think Miss Apple harm the hotel s business. Book Now there were two types of rooms:Standard Garden Villa and Superior Villa. The rooms are exactly the same, but different cost. Staff explains this remoteness from the beach. And between the rooms (212 and 119), just a few meters.

Have been over 10 times at chaweng beach but never such a bad Resort. First. They give bungalow near streat.. I choosed not cheapest.. This is what they allways do. To get upgrade for more money. I did pay and upgraded to a delux pool villa. Well first time in 15 years no hot water.. 10 days there and only 3 times hot water. All night until 3 am loud.. Can get slep.. There a rooms directly cheaper at arkbar better.. Normally 170 euro each Night cor a poolvilla.. Poor.. Small room.. No door to toilett.. No doors somewhere.. Means going with 2 persons there... You can go together to toilett.. Breakfast very bad. Only toast, some eggs, musli and thai.. No chees.. Nothing.. For that money.. Take other resorts... Better more far away and take taxi..or rent motorbike.. Would be be better.. Beschcomber, green resort or all other cheaper and better.. This.. Sure never again [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I ve been to Samui many times, but this was my first stay at the Chaweng Buri Resort. The resort is lovely, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the help is polite, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect--right on the best part of the beach. It s also a very short walk to the main beach road with all the shopping, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Beach road is busy and noisy there, but you can t hear it from the interior parts of the resort or the beach. The included buffet breakfast was quite good--not stellar--but better than many; however their coffee was terrible. I recommend going just across the beach road to Coffee Club (or Starbucks if you must) for your morning jolt, then coming back to the resort for the breakfast. The hotel restaurant is sub standard with mediocre food and clueless help, but that is not a probelem as there are lots of good restaurants all over Chaweng beach. All in all, my family and I had a wonderful time there and will definitely stay there next time we go to Samui. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great hotel and great location. Staff were so helpful. The only fault which to most people isn t a problem was the wifi in the rooms we were didn t work for 3 days,but when you run a business and need to pay 45 work force while you away it becomes very important

Very good experience at Chaweng Buri Resort! There are two very comfortable beds (one queen size, one single)in our garden view room.The climate was very mild and not many mosquitos as we thought! The hotel staff are very helpful and kind. The hotel is located perfectly, one minute walk to the Central Festival, the big mall and supermarket. We will come back again:) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

酒店的服务不错，游泳池有点小，不过对于三星酒店应该可以了。服务人员很友善，这是最令人欣喜的事情，但是平房的房间有点阴暗，另外设施比较一般，想享受真正舒适的假期，还是找个更舒服的酒店吧。不过再强调一遍，这个酒店在三星里面，应该算很不错的了。 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

차웽 메인로드 중간에 위치해서 주변 편의시설 이용하기가 아주 편리했습니다.열대나무숲에 독립가옥형태로 객실들이 배치되어 있어서 시골스런분위와 여유로운분위가 좋았습니다. 내부의 엔틱한 구조와 가구 등은 가격대비 만족스럽습니다. 한국인투숙객은 없었으며 거의 대부분 유럽쪽 사람들였고 비치컨디션은 차웽쪽에서는 제일 상태가 좋았습니다. 조식은 C를 주고싶고 모기가 아주 많았으며 도마뱀, 뱀 이런거 질색인 여자분들은 빌딩형태의 호텔을 알아보시길 바랍니다. 첫날 문앞에서 스타벅스 빨대만한 뱀새끼를 발견했답니다. 문단속 잘하시길... Excellent hôtel très bien situé avec des chambres bungalow dans un superbe environnement et très bien tenue Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Très bien sauf une petite ambiguïté sur l extra bed du 2ème enfant qui a été comptabilisé en lit partagé et non pas en lit supplémentaire

We booked standard room but when we arrived we got upgraded to superior. Many small ants on the toilet sink. After a few days we found two snakes in the bathtub! I demanded another room and we got upgraded to a deluxe bungalow. In this room we got cockroches every day. Housekeeping very poor, cleaned floors two Times in 12 days. Many dogs running around the whole hotel area and up on the bungalows porches. When its dark you hardly cant see where you are going because of the bad light.

Отдыхали с мужем в феврале 2013г в этом отеле. Могу сказать, что отель замечательный: хорошие завтраки, качественная уборка номеров, чистое белье, обалденная территория, можно сказать, джунгли. Бунгало большие, мы останавливались в Superior: большая комната с обалденной кроватью, софа, плазма. Ванная комната с очень хорошей сантехникой, чисто, горячая вода включается сразу, не нужно ждать, чтобы она нагрелась и т.п. Кондер - новый, тихий и мощный. Классная террасса у каждого бунгало. Единственный минус - бунгало стоят близковато друг к другу, шторы мы не открывали.Хороший пляж. Но тут мы попали . Все 2 недели , пока мы здесь были, на Чавенге дули ветра и на море были большие волны...Несколько дней мы на них попрыгали, купаться невозможно, хотя вода все равно чистая и очень теплая. Так что, стоит уточнить инфу насчет того, когда на Чавенге море спокойное. Отель стоит на самой тусовочной улице: куча кафешек, магазинов, так что голодными не останетесь. Средняя цена блюд в кафе в районе 250 бат. При этом в отеле всей этой суеты совершенно не слышно, только птицы поют и какие -то зверюшки по деревьям лазят, как наши белки. В отеле жили в основном иностранцы, русских - мало. В целом, мы довольны, точно вернемся в отель, но только в то время, когда море будет спокойным. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Впервые пользовалась сервисом, немного волновалась, но осталась совершенно довольна. Очень грамотные менеджеры, хороший английский, на котором мы и общались по переписке, все четко, понятно, очень оперативно. Удобная система оплаты: не нужно давать реквизитов своей карточки, как в некоторых отелях, удобный и понятный интерфейс для оплаты, возможность рассрочки: часть оплачивала в течение суток, основную - в течение месяца. Буду пользоваться сервисом в дальнейшем и всем рекомендую.

Location of the hotel is good and sandy coast good for swimming. Acceptable breakfast does not have a lot of varieties, good reception. Booking with sawadee is first time I deal with and will not be the last time.

At one stage during our stay, we had a total of 13 friends staying at the Chaweng Buri Resort. We had Buri 101 next to the pool and the beach and the Massage Hut, which has a large verandah and which we used as the meeting place every evening at 5.30/6 pm for drinks and a get together before deciding where to go for dinner at a different venue every night. The Chaweng Buri provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the staff were marvelous. We were the ones who researched and suggested the Chaweng Buri to everyone and when we got there, we were pleased to find that our choice was not misplaced. When we go back to Koh Samui, Chaweng Buri will certainly be at the top of the list of places for us to stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

After surfing the net for hours we decided to stay at Chaweng Buri and it was so much better than expected. The location was right in the heart of the most convenient spot. Only it can be a bit noisy at night. All the rooms are individual cottages so you can have personal and cosy stay. The bed is nice. They have one double bed and one single bed in the room. Very convenient. The bathroom is clean and nice and bright, I think recently renovated. The pool was great! Just right temperature. Breakfast was ok. All the people were friendly and nice. It would have been better if there was a Korean TV channel and the lighting in the room was a bit too dark. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This Hotel should be rated more than what it is.It is located on the best part of Chewang Beach.The water is Crystal clear and clean to swim in not like further towards the Ark Bar as it is MUD.Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas.Noise was not a problem from either the busy chewang main street or the beach.We stayed in the Superior Buri and had plenty of room,the bathrooms are a little dated but Clean.Breakfast was good fresh eggs cooked just the way you wanted,fresh fruit etc.Staff are very friendly and grounds are maintained daily by two very nice lady and man.I would stay here again when we return to Koh Samui. Not bad for the price - but glad I was only booked for 3 nights. The hotel is tired and in a state of decay . When things have broken they have been poorly patched up. A lot of money needs to be spent to restore this to what it must have been like when first built. The location, beach and breakfast were however very good. Would not recommend it unless or until it is properly maintained. Probably 2 stars. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Unbelievable.Perfect location with the beach on one side and high street on the other.The log huts were beautiful with an excellent environment. The hotel beach was wonderful, the swimming pool was being renovated but didnt need to go there. Our two teenaged boys and we had a most memorable holiday. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

preis leistung sind stimmig, allerdings könnte sie mal wieder etwas renovieren und die rezeption sollte die anreisen kennen zumal wenn man vorab bezahlt hat. ansonsten ist das hotel sehr bemüht und sauber, ich war das dritte mal dort.

First the postive: The location is great and the pool area to. The private beach is probably one of the best in chaweng. The bungalows are little bit to dark, because there are not enough lamps. The hotel make comercial with a fitness room on their website. But there isn t a fitness room in this hotel! The low season rates are most i would afford, for a room like that. i stayed at the hotel for almost 3 weeks. at first i hade problems with the room but then after 2 days they upgraded my room to newer room. stuff are nice and very helpfull. room are not always cleaned so good - they sould do more.

This is my second time in this hotel. The first time was 4 years ago, and I enjoyed it very much than. But, I had some hesitations before booking this time, due to the not so good reviews the hotel received sometimes in the past years. After 9 nights at the hotel, I must say, that the hotel is wonderful as I remembered it: the room was nice and clean, the gardens are amazing, the stuff was very friendly, breakfast was good and the beach is perfect. It is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel, and we would love to return. Chaweng Buri is a medium level resort, excellent value for money, and on the sandy part of Chaweng beach which does not have rocks at low tide. The rooms are individual bungalows, adequate size, and are clean and comfortable. They have a covered verandah for those evening drinks. Although situated between the beach and the busy main road, there is no traffic noise whatsoever. Security is excellent, with security guards front and rear, and night time patrols of the grounds. The breakfasts are beautiful, but we chose to dine elswhere around Chaweng. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful.I would recommend Chaweng Buri as a good value medium level Hotel in the best part of Chweng beach. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Cheweng Buri is in a great location. It has a nice buffet breakfast and the staff are nice. I did however find the rooms quite dark and two days we did not get beach towels because there were no clean ones and it is very hard to get a beach chair.

The Chaweng Buri Resort is definately worth staying at. The resort itself has a quiet jungle theme and hard to belive it s smack bang in the middle of Chaweng beach road (near McDonalds and Tropical murpheys). The main bars are only a few minutes walk away. The pool and beach bar are superb, I didn t try the restaurant but it looks really good. On more of a negative note, when I arrived the hotel was having problems with yellow water (something about the mix I was informed) and my toilet was blocked, I had to get angry with the manager in order to get my room changed. New room toilet good, but water still slightly yellow. Apart from that, I would recomend the hotel. (just check the water is fixed before you book) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The service was great, we got an earlier check in and a later check out. The standard on the Businessroom was ok but in need of renovation if you think of the price we payed. I was dissapointed that i told the hotel that it was our hooneymoon yet nothing to celabrate it, not even a flower in the room or a nice welcome drink. I been in other hotels with better standard and payed less and we got all the above even thoe it was not our honeymoon. Still it was a good hotel.

We, my husband, 11yrs old son and myself had a wonderful time at Chaweng Buri resort.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned and bedding & towels changed daily. I loved sitting of a morning on my verandah, listening to birds and looking at the lush green vegetation. The beach was a few seconds from our room and is beautiful- perfect for families of all ages. I did find the retaurants a little pricey for what they are offering. Thank you Chaweng Buri for the freebies of Thai massage, dinner and island tour. I recommend this resort! Excellent hotel, going there next year. Green territory, romantic room, the location couldn t be better, the very center of Chaveng Beach area. The personnel were extremely helpful and attentive (reception and manager). In the breakfast place waiters could be a little more attentive, though... the hotel is a qiet nice, romantic and clean place.If you want to be in the eye of the tourist storm, its the perfect place. Otherwise I would prefer some more isolated and qiet place. Sevice is very good, staff ist nice and helpful.

hotel requiring extensive refurbishment especially the bathrooms is true that the hotel is well situated in relation to the centre chaweng and the seafront but it remains a hotel unsafe and should do something about all these stray dogs circulating in the hotel and staff are not very enthusiastic brief pas terrible for the price, I had a great luxury [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Brilliant, right on the beach one way and Chaweng main street the other, but we had no noise. Staff very very friendly, couldn t be more helpful everything is done with a smile. The timber chalets/bungalows were lovely. We were a bit apprehensive of being in the centre of Chaweng because of the vibrant night life but we needn t of bothered. Would go back again. Location is grate,middle of Chaweng,on the beach, on the main road there u can fined restaurants, internet caff e, Starbucks coffee, travel agency, laundry... the deluxe room have enough space for three persons, the room dark, a bite neglected, the law staff very friendly, with reception staff hard communication in English, not very helpful, be aware that check out in 12 at noon, we ask to charge us for late check out and they did nt try to fined a proper solution for the request or the luggage (that left in the open lobby for all the after noon)

Our second stay at Chaweng Buri. We really like this hotel, nice and helpfull staff. Very nice garden, it s like a jungle. Close to shopping and restaurants. Big and clean bungalows. We lived in the hotel for the new year, two families, we are very liked. The service was good. The only thing we did not like this celebration of the new year. It was boring, food and drinks are not liked. It was expensive (4500 BHT per person, pay more when making reservations), and had to pay for drinks separately. This time, we went into this room, hoping for good service, but this time it was much worse. I do not know why, but the personnel was worse than the last time, there was no bath robes, etc. While our friends who lived in this hotel during this period, such problems did not exist. I think you need to agree on the reception immediately, that there were no such deficiencies. Overall, the hotel good location, good rooms, limping slightly service (according to the latest trip). Chaweng Buri Resort was a fantastic choice for our accommodation during our trip to Koh Samui. The location was fantastic right in the heart of chaweng beach. The resort itself was more than we expected with beautiful bungalow style rooms surrounded by the lush rain forest setting. The facilities were extremly enjoyable, and the food was great. Chaweng Buri Resort was a real disappointment!!! we stayed there one week, when we arrived the room was a smoking room and it smelled of smoke (we have requested a non-smoking room) we went to the reception desk in order to ask to change room and the lady was really unpolite with us saying that they were fully booked and at that moment we could not change our room. The room was very old-fashioned, we stayed in samui paying less but having much more comfort, the bathroom was dirty and old. Finally, we got a new room, but although the room was nicer Chageng Buri doens t worth the price we paid. Only positive aspects were the beautiful beach and good location. we don t reccomend this resort.

This must be one of the best places on Chaweng. Staying in a jungle with just a few steps to the beach. Clean an good service, very friendly staff. We will come back!

très très bien, tres agréable, bien qu à côté de la rue principale de CHAWENG, l hôtel est très calme. Les chambres sont propres, le petit déjeuner est varié.
