Vert good Hotel,well located beautiful pool and garden, super friendly staff. Booked a standard room very clean and standard better than expected, visited the other rooms better in real life than on the photos of Internet, loved the bungalows .the food was very good at the hotel and cheap. The Hotel is very nice and in the middle off center Chaweng. There is no noise from the street and also no music to hear from the Ark Bar beside this Hotel. I booked a Shino room but the bed is low and probally not so good for the elder people under us. Also the hot water was not so long and fast empty. Overall I liked the Hotel clean and very friendly staff. Will come back later. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Chaweng Garden Beach Resort was wonderful . The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from . The pool area was sufficient and clean every day. The beach was magical. Staff were respectful and helpful.Loved the resident dog David who greeted us every day .Only complaint is the room towels need replacing , pretty threadbare and thin other than that we will return to this hotel for future holidays [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Отель понравился, даже несмотря на маленькие нюансы, а именно, в номере стандарт не было полотенец для лица, были только большие полотенца. Имейте ввиду что при заезде у вас попросят залог - паспорт или 2000 Bt. Мы знали о месте расположения этого отеля все хорошо, т.к. в августе прошлого года отдыхали в соседнем отеле Baan Chaweng Resort. Самолеты, взлетающие над пляжем не доставляли неудобств, так же как и акр бар, расположенный рядом. Делали массаж в отеле и за пределами, особой разницы не заметили, впрочем и по цене тоже. Хорошие завтраки, помимо традиционных яйца/омлет, всегда был рис с курице/морепродуктами, курица с карри зеленым/желтым, один раз была говядина. Салат бар всегда один и тоже: 3 вида листового салата, огурцы, морковь, помидоры, лук кольцами. 7 видов фруктов, в марте это были - ананасы, драгон фрут, дыня, бананы, папайя, арбузы. Бассейн чистый, с видом на море. Территория похожа на тропический лес, со своими запахами и стрекотом насекомых, убирались садовники постоянно. На территории отеля живут белки, которых мы кормили с руки. Мы были семьей со взрослым ребенком, но так же были семьи и с маленькими детьми. Этот отель смело можно рекомендовать для отдыха. Superior room was fine. But porch in front was incredibly small and not dimensioned for three persons. Furthermore the ground floor rooms are situated so every bypasser can watch you and look directly into your room. No privacy at all. Location on Chaweng was perfect, but Chaweng is overcrowded an not very appealing unless all you want to do is buy souvenirs and roast on the beach.... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I wanted resort style accommodation on the beach and this was spot on. The room we had was upstairs and looked out on a lush almost jungle type of beach setting. The beach was only a small walk away and the restaurant and bar was right on the beach. The pool was great. Meals were relatively inexpensive and good. The resort was right in the centre of the main beach area Chaweng Beach. I would recommend this resort. Only two negatives: The resort is on the extended centreline of the airport s runway so low flying aircraft pass directly overhead. I didn t find this too bad at all. The other was the mosquitoes in the rooms very hard to avoid being bitten alive as the rooms do not have fly screens. Take fly spray and spray room at night and also spray repellent on yourselves. Didn t notice mosquitoes outside of room. Reception staff a bit matter of fact and not very friendly but all the other staff at restaurant, bar and house keeping very very friendly. On the whole one of the best places I have been in Thailand and I semi live in Thailand. Good value for money. Kids will love it. Good food in the many restaurants outside on the street too. If you love seafood you ll love it here. A great holiday location.

Great location in central Chaweng and next to the beach. Quiet and nice area, good swimming pool. Room was smallish for 2 adults, kid and baby, but that didn t matter bacause we spent most of the time elsewhere. Recommended!

很好的酒店，一边是大海，一边是查汶大街，地理位置很好。离飞机场也很近，飞机就在头顶上轰鸣着过去，目视估计不超过100米高。飞机一般在早7点到晚11点吧，还好，不影响休息。游泳池也在海边，小松鼠就在树上跑来跑去。 房间设施也不错。海滩的沙子真细，包括酒店内小路都是细沙，带了一双鞋托，根本用不着，三天里都是光脚在酒店和海滩上走来走去，除非上街。 唯一有点失望的是，到的当天是孩子的生日，预订时还特意留言说明，本以为会有小惊喜，但什么都没有，连一张卡片也没有。 总体而言相当满意。 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

位置太热闹了，就是一边临街酒吧，一边是ark，不是说泰国酒吧2点结束的？凌晨3点老外还在high，一晚上没有睡好，第二天赶快逃出查汶了。另，ark不过如此，远没有我们在涛岛上的酒吧玩得high，也许是在涛岛太有感觉了，再到查汶酒吧就没有意思了。再也不会在查汶住了。

房间很紧俏，我们从十点一直等到12点多才check in，房间设施一般，被子是床单夹毯子，很容易散开。淋浴水大很好、蚊虫多，我们咬的满身包，现在还没好。house keeping没给小费明显比给了小费的要打扫的不干净。泳池的水还干净宝宝很喜欢，酒店沙滩质量不错，走出不远就能看到成群的鱼。早餐比较丰富，餐厅临海。酒店周围超市餐厅酒吧都有，很方便也很热闹。 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This hotel was in a great location it is a sanctuary on a very busy Chaweng main street. Hotel was lovely and could not fault the service the staff provided at all times. Our room was very clean on arrival and serviced every day after that. pool was private but only seconds from beach...best of both worlds! I would definitely stay there again.

The location of the hotel is good, except the noise from the Arkbar party s is to heavy, specialy in de beach front bungalows (GB 1 & 2). The cleaning of the rooms is below the normal standard and the chairs (bed) on the beach need to be changed (new one s) very urgent. Vi var 17 personer som bodde i 7 rum och vi stortrivdes. Olika åldrar mellan 12-65 år och en liten på 2 år. Det är rent och snyggt överallt och rummen var också fina. De bytte handdukar till stranden varje dag. Sängen var hård men helt okej och några av oss sa till och fick en 10cm tjock bäddmadrass så de var helnöjda! Personalen var kanon trevliga hela tiden. Det ligger ju jätte centralt! Det enda negativa var att det låg så nära The ark bar som spelade hög dunk dunk musik hela nätterna. God frukost! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Отдыхали в июле 2012, 2 семьи с детьми по 12 лет. Отель понравилься. Завраки хорошие, омлеты, сосиски, бекон, блюда тайской кухни, овощи и фрукты. Жили на виле, обслуживание на уровне. Уборка каждый день, очень много приносят полотенец, пляжных и банных. Номера просторные, чистые. Русских каналов нет. Вечерами много комаров.Кондиционер в номере мощный, морозит на совесть , правда немного шумный. Пляж читый, вода бывает очень теплая и мутная. Напротив отеля в воде много камней, можно понырять с маской. Очень красиво. Чуть правее, песок, там все и купаются. Шезлонгов хватает. В отлеле бассейн не большой и не глубокий, но всем хватает. В основном все купаются на море. Рядом с отелем много магазинчиков и ресторанчиков и прочив развлекаловок. Недалеко есть фруктовый рынок. На соседнем пляже дискотеки и разные шоу программы Нам понравилось, вернулись бы на еще [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Only stayed here one night, but we wished we stayed longer. Great property located in a great location on the beach. And its located almost right across from Soi Green Mango. Food was great, staff were excellent, and nice pool and beach facilities. Highly recommended.

We had booked a Superior Room for 3 people and when we arrived at the resort were told that this required the three people to share a double bed. When we objected we were very quickly shown to a room which met our initial expectations so I think that they were just trying it on initially. Other than that the staff were very friendly, the room and food very good. The bathroom was very nice but the cleaning could have been better for example the bnath was not cleaned during our stay of six days. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We ve booked 11 nights and left the hotel after one night. We stayed in the garden bungalow and it was very much below our expectations! It is quite old, no fresh feeling in it! Very simple. The worth part for us (it may be ok for others) was that it was practically impossible to stay in the bungalow without curtains being completely closed! From all sides we were surrounded either by bypasses, or facing a very near by building or looking into other bungalow windows! Please note that on this beach the hotels plots are very small and each hotel tries to make just more money out of it leaving NO privacy to the guests. However, other hotels are doing as much as they can to make the guests comfortable, e.g. the near by Chaveng Regent is very nice and the wooden roads are nicely wlaking you through a very nicely taken care of territory. In the Garden, the roads are straight, pure ground and sand - so no fantasy or investment. The pool is really old and small and it boarders with the hotel fence. The breakfast is more or less ok, but if there will be more fans around, probably the hotel will not have the flies and mosquitoes flying over the bread. The beach is also ok, but we could hardly relax on it as it is full of people walking, passing by to the near by beach restaurants! The beach terns into one huge restaurant after 5pm! And it is true - the fireworks never stop! They are enormously loud! The management of the hotel is nice though and they were very helpful to find an other hotel and provided us with the computer to search for possible options and even called Sawadee for any possible arrangements. Note that the hotel is taking cancellation fee of one day. At the end we ve found ourselves in a very nice Fair house hotel in probably 1km from the Garden and were paying the same price for the privacy and comfort we needed.

Sawadee were efficient as usual. As our new hotel was not working with Sawadee, the later has returned us our payment practically in 24 hours, so we could easily pay it back to the new hotel. Nice to work with the guys!

Very good location on Chaweng beach and very cozy bungalows, but you pay for it. For 4250 Baht, no breakfast (Big breakfast on Coffe Club recommended)this is perhaps value for money, not more. Beware that this part of Chaweng beach is partylife. The party noise is no real disturbance, but the fireworks that start at 11 and continues until 04.00 every night is fu*#¤ng irritating if you intend to sleep a night or two. The bombs really shake the bungalow. If you re looking for party on Chaweng beach this is a good place to stay. If you travel with family - go elsewhere.

Wij verbleven hier voor de tweede keer en waren opnieuw zeer tevreden. Het is een perfecte locatie voor wie een beetje ambiance wil tijdens z n vakantie. Alles (strand, restaurants, bars, winkels,...) ligt op wandelafstand. Wij komen zeker terug. Hier proef je zeker nog de Thaise sfeer.

This was the third time we had stayed at this resort and we were a little dissapointed this time as we were greeted as friendly as the previous times. It was like it was a hassle to check us in but the resort itself is in a very handy location to everything, food and entertainment and shopping. The rooms are very cheap and clean. The location of the hotel is great, in the center of Chaweng Beach. The rooms are nice, but nothing to write home about. The water quality is poor, smell bad. Some of the hotel staff should be sent on training course in how to take care of customers. I think I never stayed in at a hotel before, where so many of the staff had a unfriendly behavior. But the ladies that cleaned my room, and the staff at the beach was great. I will choose another place next time.

Resort is in the main area of all activity. Hotel staff are nice and accomading and there is very little distrurbance to your stay by other guest and hotel staff. Pool location is facing the ocean and dinning area is well maintained, clean and of high standard.

excellent service as the booking and confirmation is extreamly quick with very clear processors and criteria up front. They also give you a personalised service for personal querries e.t.c. I was able to change the booking with amazing speed after confirming my reservation, when i reduced my booking from 5 rooms to 4.

I really thank you for all your service and I would like to tell you that I enjoyed my trip but I think the chaweng beach is not serve those looking for comfort, because winning the hassle of the fireworks all night long and annoying late at night and I advise those who want to go to Koh Samui to stay away from this beach.

Great location. Cannot comment about the breakfast because in our case it was not included, but the restaurant is good. People who order beachfront view, you don t really see the beach, it is pool view to be more pricise. Massage at the hotel was better than in any other places we tried (but it is individual). Car/ motorbike for rent is better outside the hotel (you can bargain for better price in other places).

I stayed at resort from 15 Sep 2009 to 20 Sept 2009. I have stayed at Chaweng Gardens many ago before the Resort was fully redeveloped with the new Bungalows. The Modern tastefully decorated Room i stayed in was the most comfortable i have had on all my trips to Thailand going back to 1990. It was set well back from the road near the beach so i did not have any noise from the village of Chaweng at night. I don t agree with any of the coments i have seen in these reviews criticing the staff. The staff are extremely welcoming, and helpfull for instance there is free internet access in the reception if you have your own Notebook. A lot of other resorts charge a lot for internet access. If the staff see you sitting down in this area they jump up to turn on the fan to make sure you are comfortable. I have seen people arrive trying to negotiate a ridiculous rate which would have been a price in 1990. The staff kindly advise them where there is a cheap room in the village and even offered to drive them there in their golf carts. Perhaps due to language difficulties these people ask Why are you doing this . The reason the staff are doing this is just because they are nice friendly people. On arrival at the reception you will be ferried with your bags to your room in one of their Golf carts. The food is very good at this resort. They have a great Seafood restaurant next to reception and on the beach a great seafood barbecue. Anyone complaining that they did not get a late checkout because they did not order one has only themselves to blame for not telling the staff in advance. That is the same in any hotel in the world, if you don t tell people what you want then you won t get it. I would definitely come back to Chaweng Gardens [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed at the resort from April 15-17 and we have been to the place many times before. The new buildings and rooms are a great improvement - stayed in a tripplet which is absolutely recommendable.The place has a nice location and the garden i great - but beware of mosquiots!! Reception staff seems quite tired - perhaps the season has been too long... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The new rooms in this hotel are some of the best I have stayed at in Koh Samui. The pool is also fantastic and the food is great and very cheap. The staff at the reception are hopeless and very unpolite which is sad as they do not portray a good depiction of the rest of the hotel at all. 3.5 out 5 stars [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
