Замечательный спокойный отель с отличным сервисом. Тщательная уборка номеров и территории. Все просьбы или пожелания выполняются персоналом быстро и с улыбкой. На пляже - подушки с зонтами от отеля. Вечеринки с барбекю. Далеко от Чавенга, поэтому активности как таковой нет, спокойное место. Рядом магазины, рестораны. По четвергам - ночной рынок, по пляжу до него 50м. Утренний рынок с 5 до 9 утра в 10 минутах ходьбы. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Steer away. Lousy breakfast with only white bread, very limited choice, no cheese. When we asked for dark bread and cheese, we had to pay extra for this. The arrogant manager replied us that we are not paid well enough, so the hotel lost money. The low standard of rooms, it was rat poop in the closet in the bathroom. Poor food in general in the restaurant. Never again. We had the pool suite beachfront and 2 rooms that should be beachfront but it was not.

Leider haben wir nicht die Kategorie erhalten, die wir gebucht und bezahlt hatten. Auf unsere Einwände vor Ort wurde leider nicht eingegangen. Ebenso klappte der Airport-Shuttle nicht. Wir würden hier nicht mehr absteigen, da wir nunmehr bereits in unserem zweiten Aufenthalt enttäuscht wurden.

We ve stayed at the deluxe rooms and halfway we moved to the beach villa. It s a fantastic resort. It s only a small menu at the restaurant but the BBQ is excellent and the staff members Tic and Pleng are wonderful. Also the cleaning staff are very good and friendly. Poor breakfast. Frontdeskmanager is verry slow or just lazy. Kitchenstaff is also slow.. Meanam is not the place to be , although the Beach is beautiful. We will never return.

Great location, direct access to Mae Nam beach. Hotel only a short distance from the main busy road on east coast of samui, but you would never know it. Quiet and relaxed location, beautiful surronding gardens. Stayed in deluxe room which was well maintained. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The only negative issue, is regarding the breakfast setup . Unfortunately, most of food offered at the buffet was, uncovered or parially covered leaving exposed to the elements. We stayed in the Sea View Family Suite, and it exceeded all our expectations. The upstairs room is the wooden room in all the pictures; it is very spacious with a covered patio as well; the downstairs room was more basic, but adequate. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great resort. we stayed in one of the pool access rooms and we really enyod our stay here. Clean room and really nice staff all over the resort. If we come back to Samui we will for sure stay here again!!

Жили в отеле 2 недели, в самом простом номере, он, конечно, тесноват, но так как в нем буквально ночевали - все устроило. Для жизни все необходимое есть, но не помешал бы небольшой косметический ремонт и обновление полотенец и посуды, пару лежаков, зонтов. Завтраки одинаковы, добавили б 1-2 блюда типа макарон. Сам отель расположен просто отлично - шаговая доступность к морю, пляж спокойный. Очень уютная, спокойная атмосфера.

Прекрасное тихое место. Половина отдыхающих из России. Два бассейна, один днем находится в тени - прекрасно спасает от жары. WIFI есть, убираются в номере каждый день. В ресторане на берегу очень вкусно кормят. Рядом walking street на которой есть немецкий ресторан (для любителей пиццы, колбасок и пива). Пляж чистый. Море - дно песок+ местами ил, рыбы и морских гадов не видели - большой бассейн с соленой водой. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We liked the place a lot...the garden has great scents wafting in to your nostrils as soon as you enter there. The restaurant has good food(meaning for lunches and dinner) however the breakfast gets boring pretty quickly, though the view more than makes up for it as you glance out to the shimmering sea If you want to get picky then you could say things like the towels are getting pretty thin, the water pressure is not so good in the shower, the room door does not close properly letting in mosquitoes etc. But honestly, none of that stuff bothered us (and don t let it put you off staying there) and we enjoyed our time there so much! And it has a couple of nice, clean and well maintained pools right under your room! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

При бронировании и чтении отзывов готовилась к худшему. Увиденное порадовало - номера чистые, просторные, пляж - 2 минуты максимум. Хороший большой бассейн и 2 маленьких. Завтраки не самые богатые, но в целом, нормально - яичница,тосты, хлопья, фрукты. Само место предполагает тихий, размеренный отдых, хотя в пешей доступности имеются и кафе, и рестораны, и массажные склоны. По четвергам на соведней улице вечерняя ярмарка. Из отдыхающих - в основном родители с мелкими детками и единичные в поле зрения самостоятельные путешественники [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

A lovey family run resort, not too big. Very friendly team, especially the receptionist and the restaurant staff. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the restaurant was on the beach - beautiful.

Booking the hotel was no problem, but we also booked the transfer from airport to hotel via this service and they did not pass this info to the hotel... No problem though one call to the hotel and the owner came and collected us. (It s about a 20-30 min drive)

I stay at Florist for 4 night s. I had a reservation for a Standard room, but I get an upgrade. Verry nice, big room at the first foor. Big bathroom. All are verry clean. The Resort is direct at the Beach. Verry nice and helpful personal at the resection. The Restaurant was at the beach too. I think it was rented and not incl the Resort. The Breakfast Buffet (incl) was simple. coffee/ Tee, toast, butter jam, fruits, pancake and a cook for make different eggs. The Lunch/Dinner Menu looks like typical Tourist food. Spaghetti, Schnitzel, Sandwich... Okay, there are some Thai Foods but they cook in European style. The Mae Man Beach Area is verry nice. You can walk 1 h at the Beach in one direction. At the big street are some shops an some restaurants with realy Thai food :) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Our first time visiting Thailand we did plenty of research. First you chose your beach based on what type of experience you want. for us, we wanted to relax amd enjoy peacful nights. manam beach fit our desires. Beach was clean, water clean and nights were relaxing. To ge to the party places like chewang, it only took about 20 mins by scooter. The florist resort turned out to be everything we wanted and more. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food there was very good. We rented a scooter and traveled about 500km exploring the island and ate everywhere with all places very fresh and delicious. All the locals were friendly and helpful. We traveled through the jungle mountains on a journey that took about 3 hrs and found some amazing sights and Tartain falls. Explore for your self but stay at the Florist. We made a great choice. Bra läge vid stranden, De Luxe rummen var bra men inte standard rummen. Frukosten var inte bra.Stranden nedanför hotellet kunde man ligga på fram till kl 12 sedan var där ingen sol.

Les chambres dans l aile nouvelle sont grandes, propres. Seul problème, identique à celui de mon séjour précédent, le linge de toilette est propre mais vraiment défraîchi,voire abîmé, les serviettes de plage ne ressemblent à rien. La restauration en général n est pas top. Mais hôtel correct pour passer 2 ou 3 nuits.Personnel gentil.

Отель самый лучший, который я встречала на Самуи. Отдых с ребенком самое лучшее место-Флорист резорт! Тихое, красивое, зеленое место, море в трех шагах от отеля, хорошая инфрастуктура, обслуживание на отлично! Всем рекомендую этот отель. мы отдыхли в нем второй раз и обязательно туда вернемся. The Seaview Suite is fabulous. There are two large balconies and there is plenty of space. The large room upstairs is just as nice as the pictures suggest. The room downstairs is much more ordinary. We were very happy with our stay at the Florist Resort. The room was clean and comfortable. The covered balcony was excellent, as we had a lot of rain during our stay. The pool was nice, and the restaurant was of good value. We didn t get to enjoy to beach much because of the weather, but the hotel is right on the beach and loungers are available. I went there with my girlfriend for 3 days to relax after a crazy Thailand trip. This was the best 3 days. Meanam beach is great and not that busy, nice massages on the beach. The florist resort has very nice big rooms, with balcony and aircon and good views. Resort is right on the beach with restaurant on the beach. Breakfast was the best I found in the 5 places we stayed in Thailand. Can rent a scooter to do sight seeing and see the busy Chaweng and Lamai beach. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The family sea view suite had a great outlook, but the rooms were not interconnected and the access was via rickety stairs without rails, not suitable for small children. The restaurant food was poor. The overall condition of the resort was ramshackle and the price of 4500 baht was excessive. We checked after a night and moved to a resort that was a little more expensive but absolutely lovely

Its a quid, lovely place to bee,the pool is lovely the resturant was not the best,,ok, but the staff could smile sometimes,and some more sunbeds on the beach.Go there if you want to relax for no money, and its close to some more actions, we are going back if we are going to koh samui again. Upon arriving at the florist resort my husband and I were immediately disappointed. Hotel staff were ununiformed so it was hard to tell who was staff, check in reception area was very unprofessional, there were piles of discarded furniture stuff scattered around the hotel grounds. The room was a good size and bathroom was clean and a good size. However the room had grotty marks on the Walls making it feel dirty. The room had all advertised facilities but was a lot more worn out than the pristine condition as shown in photos. The hotel in photos looked like crisp linen and very clean which it is not. The pool was nice and clean which was a plus. However there were no pool towels supplied. The hotel advertised chill out coffee /tea areas near pools which were non existent. The hotel itself was not located properly on google maps and is pretty isolated from the shops ect, the hotel was shown on google maps as 150m away from the mecure where our friends got married which is another reason we booked here, but in fact it was 2km away!! On our first night we left for dinner and on returning to our room there were 3 people outside our hotel door, one shining a torch at the lock and one trying to get it - we thought our room was getting broken into as it all looked pretty dodgy - whilst it turned out it was hotel staff who claimed to want to change a lightbulb we wonder why they wouldn t have waited to ask us to come in while we were there. It all felt strange and we felt uneasy. The hotel restaurant whilst quaint boasted nothing of a professional feel. The next day we went to fisherman village where we found a new hotel - and arranged to transfer there immediately - the new hotel ended up cheaper, in the middle of busy fishermans village and perfectly professional crisp and clean! The website is very easy to use and returned emails quickly when we had questions! When we decided to change hotels the staff at this website contacted the hotel to negotiate an early leave arrangement!! I have only good things to say about the website staff. The website itself portrayed florist resort as something more than what it was through pictures and info but I m not sure if they just publish what is given to them by the hotels??

We had seaview suite. Nice private area outside right at the beach. Private pool, but this was in the shadow and the water cold. The hotel is not good maintained. A bit dirty all over, and the service was at times not good. The breakfast is very simple. The resturant serves otherwise good and cheap food.

Inget speciellt bra hotell. Skulle må bra av en uppfräschning. Frukosten ingen höjdare. Allt ser mkt bättre ut på webben. Det bästa var närheten till den suveräna restaurangen Twins som ligger huvudvägen 50 meter från infarten till Florist. Mkt god mat och verkligen billigt. Rekommenderas starkt.

Great hotel ON the beach with a great pool. The staff was very nice and helpfull. Quiet place for vacation, do you want life, take a cab to Chaweng and its great to come back here then. Clean and big room. We are comming back!

The Florist is on the very beautiful & peaceful beach of Mae Nam (it s not crowded or noisy here!). Good beach if you want to swim. We loved the location on the beach and the restaurant with a view on Koh Pha Ngan & Koh Tao. Hotel is very clean, staff is nice and helpful. We had 2 mini-superior for us and our children. The rooms are clean, a little old and basic but the location with your feet nearly into the pool is very great. Breakfast is ok. You can also eat there at night, not expensive and lovely because they put the tables on the beach with romantic lights. We spend 3 nights. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Florist Resort is a very nice hotel located right in the middle of Mae Nam beach. A friendly, relaxing place to stay with very nice staff and a personal touch. They were very attentive and responded to our needs instantly, always with a smile and genuine care. Mae Nam is a small city, not too far from the hectic life in Chaweng if one wants to go there it s just 20 minutes away by cab. The beach is simply wonderful, perfect for a bit more quiet vacation with everything within reach. We d be happy to come back! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We love the stay at The Florist Resort. The Resort was right on the beach. We stayed in a mini superior room right beside the pool, and only 1 minute to the relaxing beach at Maenam. The service at the resort was great. You can easiley book different kind of daytrips or car from the resort. I can really recommend this resort. Very nice hotel! I really enjoyed my stay there. I lived in a superior room just near a big pool. The service is great! The room was cleaned every day. The beach is fine, not steep at all. The staff is very friendly. Everyone has a smile for you. Breakfast was OK, though, not various. The same fruits, juices, and eggs every day. However, everything was fresh and tasty. great resort! planned to stay there for 2 nights and explore the beach for other options, but found it a perfect place away from the crouds and with a very good staff and hospitality. me and my wife stayed there for 7 nights. if i ll go back to samui than it would be my choise again. if you dont want to spend much and still get the comforts of a very good resort and you want a quiet area than its for you. We stayed for 3 nights in a room which had direct acces to the pool (30 cm from room entrance). This was great for the kids and the pool was large - 25 meters.There was direct access to the beach from the hotel but the beach was not great - it was very steep and a few meters out the kids could not reach the bottom. Hotel staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The room was OK but not great. The breakfast buffet was good. All in all very good value. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Wir hatten für drei Tage reserviert und blieben drei Wochen. Das Florist ist eine kleine, zentral gelegene, ruhige und saubere Anlage direkt am Maenam Beach. Wir hatten ein Mini-Superior Zimmer mit direkten Pool Zugang. Für uns absolut perfekt... Alternativ hätten wir die Seaview Villa genommen, welche ein echter Hinkucker ist. Das Personal ist stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und zurückhaltend. Nach kurzer Zeit gehört man zur Familie... Das Frühstück muß wohl etwas besser als ringsum sein, denn es kamen Gäste aus anderen Anlagen deshalb vorbei. Das Restaurant, abends direkt am Strand, ist ein besonderer Genuss, den man sich schon mal gönnen sollte. Preislich nicht viel teurer als im Ort oder in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Der Strand lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein, ist aber nicht sooo feinsandig wie z.B. Chaweng. Dafür ruhig und man kann schwimmen. Innerhalb von fünf Gehminuten findet man rundum alles was das Herz begehrt, bloß kein Nachtleben . Dafür geht es Abends per Roller bzw. Sammeltaxi nach Chaweng zum Kühe umschmeissen... Wir waren sehr zufrieden, hatten einen Traumurlaub und werden wiederkommen. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This was the second time that my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Florist, and it s perfect each time. The people are super nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, and cleaned daily (my girlfriend is very picky - she never has complaints here). The location in Mae Nam is very relaxing and chilled out, with great restaurants and a nice little cocktail bar on the beach nearby. And the full moon party is just a quick boat ride away, if you need a change of pace. All in all, it s a little slice of paradise at a very reasonable price. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed one week in Florist resort.It´s nice hotel very close Maenam beach with a big pool.Rooms are big and light.The staff was very friendly, especially Tim, the lady in reception.She helped us in many ways.Also the boys in the restaurant tried their best always smiling and offerind the happy balloong to be sented on the beach.The beach itself is quite narrow on this part if you compare to Chaweng and the water became deep fast.Maenam is on the North side of the Island and so the sun comes from your back when you´re laying there.Otherwise the beach is very nice;more peacefull than Chaweng.We recommend Florist resort cause it´s nice and peacefull place.You can take taxi or local bus or scooter if you want to go shopping somewhere. We spent only one night here on our way to Kohphangan, but the hotel was very nice and clean. The restaurant is located on the beautiful beach and at night your table is just 2 steps from the water. The food was very delicious and fresh. The hotel is clean and accommodating.

For a family friendly tourist class hotell you won t go wrong with this one. The pools are great, the food in the restaurant pretty good and everybody there really friendly but that goes in general for Thais - or at least the ones working for tourist money :o)

booked for 3 nigths, but stayed 13 nigths! for this price gategory this was a very good choice. we booked the mini superior, that has direct acces to the pool. it was really large room. the only negative thing is the condition of the pool and beach furniture. they where in poor condition. the lady at recepton was very helpfull and the most hard working thai we have ever seen.

I stay at the room that just beside the pool. It s great. Water in the pool is clean. The Lady help us check in was so helpful. She help us contact car rental company, keep the driving lience and remind me to take that back. I rent a 4 seats HONDA for THB1500 per day.So cheap. one thing need to beware that they give you the car with almost no gasline and you can return the car in the same situration. so the first thing you need to do when you get the car is go to gasline station. And the lady also help us to call to the airlines to change my flight! I will stay there again if I go to Koh Samui. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed at Florist Resort for 2 nights - one either end of a trip to Koh Tao. It s a beautiful little hotel situated right on the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. This hotel offers excellent value for money and we wouldn t hesitate to spend a full holiday there. Only downside were the restaurant staff (on second stay only) who were rude and unhelpful. There are plenty of other restaurants along the beach so these members of staff can be easily avoided! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We found the accommodation satisfactory and the swimming pools very good. Maenam is as the travelk books relate fairly quiet and nothing like as busy nor touristy as Chaeweng nor even Bo Phut. Our only real complaint against the resort was the restaurant which served a very mediocre breakfast which was very ordinary, repetitive and small portions. To call it a restaurant for other meals was over complimentary as it was little better than a canteen. We ate in one evening to be loyal to the staff but regretted it and were better off eating elsewhere.

Жили в этом отеле в марте 2009. Отель в целом не плохой. Superior номера отличные. очень приветливый стафф. Автомобиль Хонду Джазз брал в аренду без депозитов и залогов паспорта. Но чего-то отелю не хватает..Наверное пляжа большого, как в КокоПалме...И в наш период было много русских..Хотя отель не пакетный...Русские вели себя абсолютно безобразно: пили, пьяными купались ночью в бассейне и т.д. The staff at the Florist Resort was very nice and always helpful. We stayed the first 4 nights at their Ocean View Suite which was a great room in Thai style with private porch and a beautiful view over the beach and ocean. The other 6 night we spend in their superior room which was very nice as well -with a big bathroom overlooking the nice pool. The rooms are very clean and friendly. At my next visit I will stay there again. Don t be alarmed when turning off the main road getting to the hotel - this road is one thing that could use some help. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Good stay and reception at The Florist, with free pick up at the airport. Very kind and dedicated people there to answer any questions and request. Quiet and clean place to stay 2 or 3 nights to recover, enjoying peacefull beach and area, but not that much to do especially at night except a few restaurants on the beach. We stayed at the Seaview suite and it was probably the nicest room we ve stayed in for that price range. There are much more luxurious rooms available on Koh Samui but this had so much character, and is just a few metres from the ocean. It was also very well cared for, spotlessly clean with regular deliveries of fresh flowers. The hotel itself feels very much like a family run business, everyone was very friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to keep our room until 3pm on the last day, which was a big bonus. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is excellent, watch out for the specials, such as locally caught fish. The de-luxe rooms also looked very nice, and the hotel layout itself is lovely, but we wouldn t recommend the standard rooms as these are now a bit tired , and the de-luxe and seaview are such good value anyway.

We stayed in this hotel in the deluxe room for two nights. The room was very nice, new and modern. However the hotel itself was not anything special, the breakfast was very simple. The beach was OK, not many people, the location in Samui probably not the best. We would not go there again. This is a lovely hotel! Our room was spacious and the glass sliding doors opened right onto a swimming pool! The location on Maenam Beach was lovely- very quiet with a beautiful view of Koh Phanang. The restaurant at the Florist is completely lackluster but we enjoyed eating dinner on the beach at other nearby places. We would love to come back here again.

Great stay! some rooms smelled faintly of rotting damp laundry, but we were accomodated to one that was clean and right on the beach. The grounds are also kept neatly, and you cant beat the location, a few steps down are three wonderful beachfront restaurants, and situated on the other side of the property is the best kept secret in samui, the tiki tiki bar which plays great music and serves amazing drinks you can enjoy while gazing out to koh phagnan. good for families as well as couples. Really nice - the room has excellent A/C so you can see it in the dark when it gets too hot in the room - if it does. The breakfast could have shown a little more variety but on the whole it is very nice indeed. Not too far from the main hub of chaweng either.

The resort was very clean, and very accommodating. The staff were very friendly, and spoke english well enough to communicate. We had booked the deluxe room, but the superior room was better for the money so we moved rooms with no problem. The only bad thing to say about the resort was that they didn t have any internet access or telephone in the rooms so we had to go to the reception area to use them. The resort was about 30 steps from the beach. It s a very quiet beach with not many people to bother you. A great resort to hide away from the city life. Chaweng beach was only about 20 minutes on the scooter so if you wanted to see the city of Samui it was only a ride away. The pool is not as big as it looks in the picture but it s a very good size to swim and was being cleaned daily. There are couple of restaurants and bars on the beach with great price for the food and Thai massage and oil massages are all over the beach front with price range of 300 BHT. You can also rent scooters, bikes, cars, and jeeps for very low price near the resort. Make sure you get helmets, when you rent scooters cause the cops will give you a 300BHT ticket when they feel like it. The cheap eats near the resort was a place called Arun @ the Samui. on the main street right outside of the resort. You should try it. Maenam Beach is an area for families, couples and people who want to be secluded. The sand on the beach is a little rough compared to Chaweng Beach but a great hideaway. We had a wonderful time at the resort and in Koh Samui! We would definitely recommend staying here

We tried 2 types of rooms in the hotel: Superior and Seaview. Both of them were excellent, towels were changed every day, as well as general cleaning was made. Staff was really friendly and helpfull but actually their English was not too good but acceptable. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was included in the price and it was very good. Overall food in the restaurant was tasty and cheap, but unfortunatelly no fresh seafood was offered. The only disadvantage of the hotel was the gutter located approximately 200m from the hotel on the beach, during the rainy weather some water coming from the road was in that gutter and subsequently got into the sea which is not good. In spite of this we liked the hotel very much and we ll definitely come back here again. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had a wonderful stay in the New Deluxe suites at the Florist Resort in January of this year. Great facilities, gorgeous pools, very friendly service. Rooms were cleaned everyday to a good standard. Resort was nice and quiet with no children running about which was just great. Pickup from airport was all organised through Sawadee and someone from the resort was waiting for us when we arrived. Would stay here again for sure. Maenam beach is very pleasant and quiet. Very nice hotel, rooms look just they are on the pictures here, our Standart was very good, just A/C a bit noisy. There are two pools - one small for children between two hotel buildings, and the other one 20m long between other two buildings, but there is no pool with see view as it was said here. The restaurant is very small, just about 6-7 tables, so if the hotel will be more than a half booked it would be no free place near pools or in a restaurant. It s a nice place for people who just want to have quiet vacation without nightlife. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed here in Feb 2007. Very nice rooms, nice and helpfull staff and a lovely pool. We stayed in a superior room . Nice and clean room with a big bathroom. We rented a bike for 200 thb/day. We stayed the DELUX room but it was not Delux,just new room. I think that a price is high for those facilities. The resort slightly noisy because a building next to the hotel was under construction. but,it will be quiet if construction is over. Hotel staff is friendly. This is a nice little hotel. Its about a 5 min walk to the heart of Maenam. We stayed in a Standard Room which was great...partial ocean view from the big balcony. The resturant was only really in operation for free breakfast, and the bar had been closed down. Still, not to worry plenty of eating places around either on the beach or in any of the streets. The hotel grounds are nice with 2 great poolsand the swiiming in the ocean is ok there too. Can also hire a motorcylce for 200 BT a day. Overall very happy with the hotel and staff...would reccommend

Stayed for 13 nights , room very clean and modern ( great value ) cleaned everyday , pool great . nice quiet hotel just off the main road ( couldn t hear traffic ) within easy distance of bars and restaurants ( all very cheap ) beach great only one downside was the restaurant/bar at hotel ( needs to be updated )otherwise a great holiday... thankyou to all at the Florist !!! We only stayed one night at the Florist, but found the staff very helpful, the hotel cute and the restaurant food tasty. It is a very convenient spot if you are going to or coming from Koh Phangan and taking the Thong NaiPan taxi boat from Maenam pier, as the Florist Resort is right in front of it. The water was good to swim in and the beach a little more on the crowded side as far as the Maenam beaches go. Would probably stay again, but might pay the extra for the Superior Deluxe room as the amenities in the Deluxe are pretty basic. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Nice hotel, right on the beach. We had the cheaper type of room and it was great, upstairs with a balcony viewing the sea through the palm trees. The food at the restaurant was excellent, even if the staff were a bit indifferent. Would visit again.

me and my partner stayed in the florist for 4 nights... it was a beautiful place. i actually cannot find one fault with the place.. the new deluxe room was perfect and the cleaning staff kept it spotless... the swimming pool was a delight.. and the beach is right on our door... the nearest shops is only few steps..at the time there was building but not once did it disturb us.... id give it a 5/5 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The Hotel is great. The staff is absolutely amazing. Their english isn t great but they make up for that by being great. Though the Hotel was under construction at the time of our stay it was hardly noticable except for the occasional drilling sound that wasn t that often. A great hotel. Totally worth the money.

Very nice hotel on Maenam beach. We stayed in the seaview suite which is fabulous. It is on the second floor (on top of the office of the manager) with a huge terrace with a table and two triangle pillows. 2 pools (one small and a very nice larger one), beach in our view one of the best on Koh Samui. We were here in low season, could be a little bit crowded in high season, as the beach is not very big (but thats just a guess). The restaurant is just ok at most - food ok, staff very bored and not really friendly. But the next two restaurants are very good, especially the grand sea view restaurant with extremly friendly staff. The only negative is that sometimes there is a bad smell as about 50 meters away (between the two mentioned restaurants) there is a gully, which sometimes is overflown... We would definately stay here again (were on the same beach 4 years ago in a different resort), as Maenam is a very quiet place (no action at all, shops close at 9 pm), and the sea is deeper that on most other beaches). If you like action - dont even think about Maenam... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel is clean and well designed and the rooms are clean and simple. However the beach is not particularly nice. There were quite a few dogs/cats and what seemed to be an open sewer right next to the hotel on the beach! However there are loads of great cheap places to eat along the beach and if you are backpacking i think it is fine. Overall we were very disappointed in Koh Samui. But Koh Tao made up for it!

Sawadee are efficient but i found it very frustrating when i needed to amend my booking and it took me forever to find a telephone number or contact a human being. I got there in the end!

Nice garden with beautiful pool but beware of the rooms in the basement! Habe to be remoldet a.s.a.p., also sheets are changed daily but habe never been really clean!!! The curtain in the bathroom is really ugly and seems unhealty... Staff isn´t able to speak english.

My wife and me booked a new deluxe room over sawadee for 10 nights. After a long trip about 22h we arrived late night at the florist. And I tell you, we were really impressed and surprised. The rooms are very nice furnished, absolut clean and the bathroom is so lovely installed, with decoration and everything you need. The aircon is as calm as you can t almost hear it. At daylight you can see why they call the resort the florist : beautifull blossoms, plants and banana trees for selfservice in a very good shape. We called it paradise. The restaurant very close to the beach get the next compliment, cause the owners and the staff made wishes reality. Doesn t matter what we wanted or what we asked for, they managed it. (Best regards to Joe and his frieds.) The kitchen of the restaurant ist very creative and tasty like I never had before, water is running in my mouth when I think about the BBQ. At last I like to say a big Thank you to Mike from the travel agency which is integrated in the florist. If you like to book a trip or a flight or rent a bike, anyway. Mike and his wife will and can help you. They did a great job. Hi Mike, hope your family is well. Great place. We had a wonderful holiday here and would definitely recommend it to others. We stayed in the New Deluxe Room for 10 nights and then had to move to the Deluxe A/C Room for the final 4 nights (not our choice by the way). The New Deluxe rooms are really nice and well maintained. The Deluxe A/C Rooms are also nice, just a little smaller and older. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. Location is great - right on the beach. The bar/restaurant is really cool and chilled out, but if you don t want to eat here every day there are loads of restaurants in walking distance. Overall the resort is nicely designed and has a really cool, laid back feel to it. Perfect for couples after a quiet time. Its right on Maenam beach which is much quieter than Chaweng, which was perfect for us. If you feel the need for a wilder time or a bit of an adventure its easy enough to get around Samui. We just wanted to relax and do nothing and thats exactly what we did. Many thanks to Jit the owner and Mike the manager who are both lovely people and very helpful. Particular thanks to Me and Miao who ran the restaurant. They made our stay extra special and became good friends. We will come back next year. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Fine except they initially confirmed our stay in the New Deluxe room for 14 nights and later informed me that we actually had to change rooms after ten nights... not a huge problem though.

We stayed in the Florist Resort for two weeks and had a wonderful time. Rooms where clean and Spacious. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. In general very helpful. Location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and more importantly we were on the beach. We had a fantastic time and defiantly would go back and stay at the Florist Resort again. Beautiful with some setbacks. Location right on the beach. Our room (sea view suite) was very tasteful and big. A big balcony with a potential of a stunning view facing the beach. Big refrigerator & TV. BUT the bed was stone hard and uncomfortable (unless you like hard beds) almost like sleeping on the floor. The view facing the sea was partly blocked by great numbers of cables that supplied other buildings with electricity. But if you stay in another apartment you don’t have this “problem”. Staff was really wonderful. So friendly and always happy doing everything they could to help you. You can really feel the family atmosphere. Since breakfast isn’t included you should try “You & me restaurant” ore “Twin sisters” across the street. Beside breakfast these restaurants serve great Thai food for about 80-150 bat a dish. If you want something cheaper & not so well presented you should try just crossing the street from the resort (beside the furniture shop). Here a lunch for 2 persons cost about 150 bat, and the food is GREAT. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
