As a family, we really enjoyed our stay at the Resort. Fantastic location directly at the beach, clean rooms and friendly staff.The drinks at the bar were a little overpriced but I still can truly recommend the hotel.

The large room, has a comfortable bathroom, breakfast is good also, sand tide is especially suitable for the children to play on the beach! Service is also very good! Is what we request double bed room on the edge of the swimming pool, just give us a big bed room, I did not sleep very good rest in bed!

Not the cheapest or the most expensive resort on samui, but wth the rates i pay, i would say its very value for money in terms of rooms, facilities and services. Rooms are huge. Too huge that it makes it looks less cozy with the lack of furnitures or decorations... U can squeeze another queen bed next to the king size bed wth still walk space to spare. Bathrooms are perfect wth ample space. Facilities wise, not too bad with 2 pools in the property, i kept away from the pool near the beach as its usually crowded. Nice landscaping. Service was prompt but definitely rooms for improvements. My only concern is the food quality. Its not really bad, but very easily forgotten. Skipped the brrakfast several times. In fact managed to find a small thai owned cafe near the resort wth exceptional culinary skills. If the resort wants guest to dine in, they better improve the quality. Location is great! Nearby wth convenient stalls like 7-11. Not too far from the craziness of chaweng main centre which is only a short tuktuk ride. Definitely 4* hotel [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very nice resort on a nice powder beach. A big resort with huge rooms, and huge bathrooms. No doors, only curtains separating room from bathroom and that was a bit annoying since we travelled 3 families together and visited each other frequently :-) Very expensive food and massage so we used restaurants nextdoor and massage nextdoor. Nice breakfast, but very often empty for some things. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

we stay for 13 nights and we regret that we book for so long. the hotel don t live up for the stars. the location close to chaweng is super. We were given 2 room one first floor on the hillside hotel. and the view from the balcony was the staff parking garage. we could change room after 3 nights to 3e floor with sea view. the price for the rooms are the same, so I ask to get some money back, but no no. The breakfast bufe is big with much to chose between. The hillside pool was not child proof. Very many sharp edges, my family had 2 accident, and we spoke to 2 others ho had cutting wounds. The pool staff did se when my wife was bleeding but they didn t care. The beach is ok. a lot of people and many, many salesman that love you. The beach pool is very very warm, and many people in it. The strange thing as always with pools are that, people don t go to the restroom. I didn t meet any one at the men s room during this time. We did buy lunch on the closes restaurant on the street to very good price and taste. After this hotel we stay in the next bay at Coral bay. Big different and much quieter beach.

We stayed for 3 days at this resort, and I must mention that this resort and several others on the same beach like Amari and Sariraya, literally have no beach. The water is very less and the beach is dirty and mostly dry. There are no waves, as these hotels are in a bay area. The proper Chaweng beach area where resorts like Centara, Buri Rasa and Banana Fansee are located is much better. This hotel has a tiny gym, no water sports, no restaurants, no activities for kids or teenagers. The hill-view rooms are too far from the pool and breakfast area, so not worth staying. We paid 5043 Baht per night per room for the Beach-side rooms, which is more than what we paid later at Centara Grand which is a fantastic 5-star resort with all facilities. The beach-side rooms are of a good size, but have no sea-view. Breakfast was very poor with almost no choices - there were bees and insects in the raw salads, which really put us off. The pool is small and was always full of people drinking and smoking in the pool, which no hotel staff objected to. We were glad to get out of this hotel after 3 days to move to Centara Grand. this was our 4th time there and certainy is not as good as it used to be. beach towels were only refreshed 3 times during our 11 night stay and hand towels provided only once, the nice manager used to greet u when u arrived, didnt see he this time and the food is not as good as it used to be, not sure if i would stay again

Located in a quite and nice beach, 10 minutes walking from Chaweng town and beach. If you stay in this hotel better to stay on the beach side rather than the hill. The staff is not understanding completely English but they are always smiling and polite. The gardens, trees and flowers smell in the resort are very pleasent. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Having been to K/S before I thought most of the hotels to be of the same standard, I was wrong. Kandaburi was better than expected, warm staff, great room and 2 pools to choose from. Location was a 5-10 walk to the main area of Chewang road meaning it was close enough but not too close. The hotel was nice enough for me to stay on an extra night and to come back on my returning journey. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great hotel. Nice and big rooms (we had a deluxe hill view, wich mean the cheapest). Hudge bathroom. 2 nice pools, one on the beach, good beach with sunchairs for hotel guest, hôtel located on the north of chaweng beach, so quiet but still near other hôtels and restaurant and whithin a ten minute walk from the center. Lot of motorbike rentals around. Nice buffet breakfast. Very good hotel would recommand it. Just sad you have to pay for wifi in such an hotel, but you can find free wifi in nearby restaurants [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Жили мы в Hill через дорогу, что совсем нас не огорчило у нас был выход на собственный бассейн и народу было значительно меньше, всё равно в этом отеле в море купать не вариант, мы поменяли через 3 дня отель на Fair House на Chaweng Noi, вот там реально и море и номера тоже отличные. В целом Кандабури очень хорошие номера, бассейн большой именно на Холме, близко к Чавенгу и тихо. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel room was superb, we stayed in a premium room and it was very spacious, not far from main swimming pool and beach. We found the staff were very helpful and always looking to go out there way to make your stay enjoyable. The downside to this hotel is the cost of its drinks and some foods. compared to local bars, hotels and restraurants, the prices are far too pricey.

Arrival was 6 PM, spent 6 nights there. Hard to find the door lock if the outdoor lighting is broken. In return the closet door switch was broken as well so we had lighted corridor first night. Additional blanket in first night wasn´t possible to get as we reached neither the housekeeping nor room service nor reception at 9 PM via telephone! The broken lamp in front of the room door was replaced 5 days later when we left, thank you! Parasole at pool was haggled and nobody cared, pump at the pool very loud, air condition in room even on lowest fan level extremely loud so we had to turn it off over night. Air condition control was not EMC-safe so we had noise and jitter on TV when the switch was activated, mind impact on human body - not legal in Europe and needs replacement! The hotel has table tennis facility frequently used by guests where nobody was caring to provide new balls nor rackets or anything. After the remaining ball got broken my girlfriend was told the balls were finished and thats it . After my intervention to the manager on duty they got some balls, but were unable to bring them to the TT facility as agreed so after an hour I had to ask again at the reception. Breakfast is very good. Beach is narrow but nice, water is shallow (90cm) even at high tide. Chaweng beach center is in reach by a 15 minutes walk. Overall we come to the conclusion never going there again because we received the impression nobody is checking and maintaining the provided facilities and the guest has to claim for everything by himself what should be implicit. Very large hotel spread over the 2 sides of the main Chaweng Rd. Premium rooms are quite large and close to the beach. Rooms were nice, although a little outdated. Staff very friendly. Beach pool and beach front very nice. A lovely 15 minute stroll to town along the beach. Restaurant prices not the cheapest - better value further along the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in Kandaburi for 7 days in a Premium Room and it was the 3. hotel on Koh Samui and absolut the best we stayed at. Good service, nice pools, nice big rooms and short walking distance to Cheweng without all the noice.

We spent 6 lovely days in this Resort. The stayed in a hillside double-room which was great (huge bathroom). The breakfast area was in the same part of the hotel and the way to walk to the beach took only few minutes and was no issue. Staff always very friendly and helpful! Very nice pool(s) and garden area with lots of plants and trees. The beach was BEAUTIFUL and when walking past several other hotels we agreed that we definitely made the right choice. The hotel offers a shuttle to Chaweng 3 or 4 times a day, but walking to the city center is also okay (around max. 1,5km). Cannot make a comment on the restaurants as we always went outside for dinner. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Hotel facilities and amenities ranged from low to adequate to excellent. I will start out with some of the greater aspects: the free buffet breakfast every morning was an unexpected surprise and we felt lucky to have it. The staff serving the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. And although the food was the same every day, it was good and there was a good variety of foods, as well. We also enjoyed the cleanliness of the pool area and the staff serving us when we stayed on the beach. They brought us our ordered beverages promptly and served us well. On the other end of the spectrum, however, the low points were the fact that our initial room had a leaky faucet. Then we had to change rooms because our room was leaking into the room below us. Our new room had problems with the air conditioning though and that took a while to fix. Also, the laundry service was a little spotty. Not all of our clothes were returned promptly as we expected they would be. Also, some of our items were shrunk even though we requested that our clothes be washed in cold water. Overall, our stay at Kandaburi was adequate, though could have been slightly improved. I believe that with some minor fixes this could be a great resort. Oh also, our taxi failed to pick us up at the airport on the day we arrived. Granted, we told them of our incoming flight number only 3 hours beforehand, but (1) it only takes 5 minutes to get a taxi to the airport from where they were from and (2) they knew we were arriving that day and when we did call sawadee, the representative said everything was fine and a taxi would be at the airport waiting for us. If we called too late, why did they confirm that a taxi would be waiting? When we complained, they said we called too late and that was why. That was a bit confusing to hear those two sides. The Kandaburi Resort itself was very nice. However, the staff and management were not so nice. The door of our room which leads to the balcony had a 1cm gap in it letting all mosquitos into our room. We called reception a number of times, each time they said they would come and look at it but noone ever came. Housekeeping was also slack with some days our room not being made up until 5pm or later in the afternoon. Location of hotel is ok - but it would have been nice if it was a bit closer to the centre of Chaweng (a 20 min walk). [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
