All of facilities are the best. Sea view connect with Rajapruek Samui Resort. Suit for take a rest and relax seem like private beach because it s too quiet and all staff s too friendly.

We enjoyed our stay, friendly and helpfull staff, large room, good breakfast with salads and fresh fruits. My little sun enjoyed the pool. Beautifull view and a few steps from the beach... If you like peace and quiet this is the place to be! Only negativ point: sometimes very noisy during the night, passing guests speaking and shouting very loud in the hall. When you have a baby sleeping, it s not nice. Still it was fantastic place...we will be back8

Very nice family run hotel, though very far from Lamai Beach and town where you can find shopping and restaurants. With two kids, the 2k walk to town was to far and we had to grab a taxi every day.

Rajapruek is located in Lipa Noi Beach i,e on the west side of the island. This gives it about an hour more of the sun than on the east side of the island. This time we wanted to find something away from it all. We wanted to be AWAY, and we found it. A quaint and remote piece of heaven, a place on the west coast of the island. At first the hotel may seem a bit rundown, but with time, you get used to it. Even the rusty and beat up gym equipment standing right by the entrance, which should have been thrown away long time ago, will not bother you that much [has been removed by the end of our stay]. BUT, There is one thing that deserves a special mention : Judy at the reception is so accommodating that she definitely deserves a special mention and a special award . Will come back here for sure if the time permits. [hope the wi-fi is free there by then as it’s a bit tacky to charge for it at this day and age] Stayed January 2012, traveled as couple [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Ett hotell som ligger väldigt avsides, men vid en fin strand. Två pooler på hotellet, en stor 20 m mot vägen och en mindre mot stranden. Bra frukostbuffé, men spartanskt möblerade rum utan balkong. Vi fick inte varmvattnet att fungera i duschen. Hotellet börjar bli slitet. Man får vad man betalar för... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The resort is off the beaten track and transport required to get to shops, supermarket & restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and clean although the resort is in need of a re-vamp. Disappointing that the pool rooms do not have a jug or tea and coffee making facilities. No bath and no proper shower recess. No public lounge area or couches to sit and read if it is wet. However the price was reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Very enjoyable buffet breakfasts. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Je suis resté 8 nuits en beachfront bungalows . J ai apprécié le calme de l endroit et de sa plage . Pour le confort rien à redire . A moins de ne pas vouloir explorer les environs , je recommande de louer un motorbyke à la réception ou un véhicule . La cuisine du restaurant et bonne et la carte est correcte . Very quiet and remote location with great accommodation (beachfront or beach bungalows are highly recommended). Rooms are nice and spacious, very clean and well kept. The staff is very attentive, everything has been taken care of with smile. Small downsize on breakfast - no fresh salad served! The laid-back atmosphere has been somewhat ruined by loud techno beat coming all day long from nearby Nikki Beach. Best Thai massage I ever have got just 50 m down the beach. A really good place with fantastic staff. We had a Beach front bungalow just a few meter from the water. It was perfect. The staff fixed everything we wanted with a smile. The cleaning was excellent. We recommend it warmly if you want a quiet place to relax.

Based on the reviews that indicated 10 out of 10, I was very disappointed. The entrance to the hotel is unimpressive and looks like an apartment block. The restaurant is under the building and a bit further back form the beach. It lacked atmosphere and the bright low energy lights makes it worse. The towel service at the pool was very good, but unfortunately you have to go and order the drinks from the bar. The bar is next to the more formal dining area. Not good if still wet from swimming. They do however bring the drinks to you once ordered. The restaurant has the best food in the area, but the waiters spoil it. They do not follow up if more drinks are required and do not know the meaning of starters. Everything arrives at the same time. There is no communication to find out what guests preferred, even from the Manager. An indication was the live entertainment. They were good but played the same music every night. They also played the same CD during intervals. This became unbearable and guests stopped clapping hands the fourth night. Fortunately we checked out after the fourth night of boring entertainment. Samui was our last stop after Phuket and Phi Phi. This place spoilt it, not because it was that bad, but simply because of higher expectations. I based the choice on reviews which I later discovered that none of the previous reviews actually stated a rating out of ten. If no rating it seems that the automatic rating is 10 out of 10. Therefore one has to treat the reviews with care. The bungalows are nice but seaviews are limited due the the narrow seafront. Our seaview suite was huge but due to interior decoration shortcomings, a waste of space. It is situated on the floor above the restaurant and the windows are unfortunately half height. You therefore need to stand to have a sea view. Due to the fact that it was directly above the restaurant where the same music played every night, we escaped by visiting other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately we returned before the band stopped and had to endure the entertainment. This place is suitable for families and not so much for romantics or lively young people. It is remote and choices are therefore lacking. I recommend hiring a vehicle to get around. Rajapreuck has a lot of potential but lacks attention to detail (for example it needs restaurant background music that actually makes you feel that you are on holiday and not at some formal function). Kein Hotel für Individualreisende! Familien und Pärchen OK. Kein typisches Hotel im Thai-Stiel. Wer amerikanisierten Standard sucht icht hier richtig. Kühle, aber modern und mit allem Komfort eingerichtete Zimmer. Keine Balkone nur wenige Zimmer mit einer art Terrasse . Lage: Ruhig und an einem wirklich schönen Strandabschnitt. Nur Sand, keine Korallen oder Felsen. Zum Schwimmen ideal. Für Kinder super, da nicht steil abfallend. Sehr schöner Sand. Um das Hotel herum gibt es so gut wie nichgts (Shops, Massage (Auch diese Im hotel selbst sehr teuer), Moped ausleihen wird schwierig...) ACHTUNG: Seit 3 Monaten hat in direkter Nachbarschaft ein neues Party-Hotel eröffnet Nikki Beach. Den ganzen Tag über laute Techno-Beats, die deutlich hörbar sind und manchmal wirklich nerven. Auch im Radjapurek selber läuft häufig etwas zu laute Musik und jeden Abend während meines Aufenthaltes, gabe es zu laute und zu einseitige Live Musik von immer der gleichen Cover-Band. Preise im Hotel überteuert: Laundry-Service, Internet (15 Min. = 50 Bath) anderswo gab es das umsonst. Preis für eine große Flasche Wasser 70 Bath!!! Ich habe mich dort leider nicht wohl gefühlt... Vermutlich eigene Schuld, da mir diese Eigenheiten des Hotels bei der Buchung leider nicht vermittelt wurden. (Bilder sehen alles sehr nett aus...) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

For our 40th wedding anniversary, we wanted a quiet place. We got the perfect resort! The beach was beautiful and quiet, the swimming pool was absolutely perfect for a swim late at night (just the 2 of us). We had a (very clean) room next to the pool, ideal! We really enjoyed our stay at Rajapruek. Nothing to complain about. Better to stay here and then take a taxi to Chaweng or Lamai or were you want to go. I think that this side of Koh Saumi will not stay this calm, it will develop a great lot in the this coming years, i do not know if that is a good thing. Approaching the Rajapruek our hearts sank a bit when we saw the rather cold room block adjacent to the road, but the large pool beside it looked inviting and we passed these on into the reception area. The reception and restaurant area are pleasant and open onto a large garden area with ponds and statues leading to a second pool and then the beach. From this garden paths lead to the bungalows. We stayed in a Beach Bungalow which was spacious and nicely furnished, with large bed and quiet controllable aircon. The only criticism of the room was that there is no separate shower, only a bath with shower tap attachment with a short hose only long enough to shower ones legs! The food was generally very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Staff are very attentive, helpful and pleasant. The beach area is quite narrow but with lovely sand, and the sea not that clean with a few jellyfish. There are large comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas but there did not seem enough if the hotel is more than a quarter full (which it wasn’t). There are a couple of other resorts within walking distance and small shops along the road, but not much else if you want bars and restaurants to walk to. There appears to be some small development nearby but this was not a problem. I would recommend this hotel for a short quiet break in a not over developed area – if it is not too full – and go for a Beach Front bungalow. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

good sunset view! very nice hotel host and service. Breakfast is western style buffet, which is good-taste. The highlight is that the hotel offers one free sailing ship! we stayed here for two days and twice very enjoyable sailing! the host here knows the location is less convient, he prepared the fireworks for customers at night and tried his best to entertain all of us. The location is indeed too far away from the market area, and the sea might be less blue, but we are here for a quiet vacation. This resort defintely offers absolute quiet enviroment. The neighbors are very friendly. But the sea view suite needs a better toilet window. The food here can be cheaper. The resort is located in the quiet side of the island which is really nice for relaxing and chilling. For night life you need to take a taxi e.g. to Lamai beach (which is quite nasty). The resort was tidy and well run. The design is bit out-dated and the biggest minus is that the staff did not speak english well at all. It s a quiet and clean resort. customers are not as many as the hotels on Chaweng Beach, I enjoyed the swimming pool when I stayed there, no other people in it except my husband and me. The food is nice and the personnel are kind. But the beach is not white and sea water is not very clean. It is far from the pier town. It is good for a family to stay, for its peaceful environment.

Postcard perfect! This is a great place on the quiet side of the island. No traffic noise or crowds. The beach faces west, so that you get perfect sunsets and a nice breeze to keep the temps down. No need to leave once you get there, but if you want to shop Naton is only a short cab ride away. It will cost about $20 to go to Chaween or Lamai. If you decide to go on any of the safaris or boat trips, they will pick you up and bring you back. We stayed in a beach bungalow, marble floors, granite bathroom, and all glass facing the beach, very nice. 2 nice pools. Beach a little narrow compared to home, but clean with crystal clear, calm water. This place may more expensive than some others you may see here, but well worth it. Breakfast was free, and the resturant serves lunch and dinner. The staff was great, several were fluent in english, but all went out of thier way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was simple but good. Dinner is good Thai food and normal prces. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The beach is quiet and nice to do a bit off swimming. after reading all the fantastic comments, we booked a beachfront bungalow for 6 nights. we did not expected to end up in a maintenance bungalow, which may has seen better days. toilet paper stuck to the ceiling - in an attempt to waterproof it? appliances not working - plugs and handles broken and in general very shabby. We moved out the next morning. The reception staff was extremely friendly, helpful and coolant to assist us with the reservations transfer via sawadee to another resort on the same beach - kanok buri Resort - Tip. next door big john seafood arrogant waiters and food crappy [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Wonderful! We picked this hotel at random and are still congratulating ourselves! Incredibly courteous and helpful staff, Whole place very clean and had everything that we wanted or needed. Situated directly on a very quiet beach. Lipa Noi is a whole world away from Chaweng and Boput, so great if you can t stand touristy places. We are going back at the end of our stay in Thailand! Very nice resort with friendly staff,good location and layout,large clean rooms(stayed by the poolside) and quite a decent restaurant.Breakfast buffet also adequate.Little off the beaten track, but that was exactly what we were looking for.To get around,you can rent a scooter at the hotel,which is what we ve done.Not for the budget minded,but the old saying applies here.Can certainly recommend. Alles in ordnung im diesem ort!Ganz sauber und angenehm. Velice hezky,cisty a prostorny hotel.Mohu jen doporucit!

This is a resort that we can give our sincerest recommendations. Very well appointed rooms (and bungalows), exceptional staff, nice pool-areas (1 for serious swimming and 1 closer to the beach) a splendid breakfast buffet and a varied restaurant meny. The beach is lovely and calm (I imagine that ll change soon as there is a lot of construction going on a little south of Rajapruek). It s about 10 minutes ride into Nathon town for all your shopping needs. We d love to come back to this resort [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We were the 3rd time visiting Ko Samui and this is defeninetely the best place on the island for a relaxing, quiet holiday. Rajapruek is located on the western tong Yang Beach in the still original area of Ko Samui 5 km south of Nathon. Don´t expect any nightlife as in Chaweng but expect a quiet beach at day and nighttime, fishingboats and small villages. Rajapruek has an excellent restaurant, the best on the beach and not the most expensive. The bungalows are great, good working aircondition and very big beds :), things are fixed without informing the staff! The staff is the loveliest of the world. This hotel is in one families hand who is present most of the time.After a while you feel very familiar with everything and you don´t want to leave this place. I guess that say´s enough to convince you to visit this place - if you can abstain of tourism nightlife as it is in Chaweng. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We liked the hotel, nice. right side of the beach. A very calm hotel, pretty far from every thing but Koh Samui isn´t so big so a taxi can take you to the place you would like to go to. Maybe not so good for children, there was no other child there and the hotelguests seemed to like it quiet, not a playing 3-year old. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Just a short trip from the airport into total tranquility. Hotel is beautiful and well kept. We were there in low season so made it that much more quieter. Not much to do around about except chill out, which was fine with us. Big John s place next door which did magic food. Oh and your right on the beach, ACE!!
