This was our third time we visited this hotel. I´m sorry to say that I think this was the last time. We have always likes the location and facilites. Our opinion has always being that it is a very good hotel på a resonable price. But the question is now if they are trying to save money. At first, the breakfast has being one of the thing we loved about this hotel. It is still good but not as good as it was. The staff are as friendly as before but we think they are less. A couple of times we had to stand and wait for the staff to clear the tables, It was just half full but no one had cleared the tables. The refilling of food was poor. Sometimes it was almost empty on everything and the refilling took a long time or wasn t done at all. It is still standard and ok food but not as it has been before. The big pool in the hotel area are a danger to children. There are tiles loose on the ground which ends sharp edges everywhere. And they probably planed to have a poolbar in this one when they build it. And it probably never was used. Around this bar there are sharp edges everywhere from loose tiles and very dirty water. All this is in the ground area where children can play. I just say, close it before someone gets hurt. The elevators in some of the buildings are closed or never started. Just one was still going what we saw. When you have small children and stroller it is pretty heavy to lift it all up to the highest floor. We think it has gone from being a very good hotel to a budget hotel wich try to save money. The cleaning is still excellent. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. The hotel and its pools are excellent and the staff very friendly. Clean beach towels delivered at the end of each day as well as fresh fruit bowls. I will be returning!

Мы забронировали отель на 6 ночей по акции и остались очень довольны соотношением цена-качество. Территория отеля очень хорошая и большая. Пляж отлично подходит для купания. Можно найти место в тени. Завтраки вкусные с достаточным выбором блюд.Обедали часто в ресторане через дорогу - там очень вкусная пицца. Ужинать ходили в Фишмэн Вилидж. Далековато - минут 20, но прогулка по пляжу очень приятная. Интернет в pablic zones хороший, иногда даже подключались прямо в номере (мы жили прямо над ресепшн). [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub auf Koh Samui. Das Hotel kannten wir bereits aus Zeiten vor dem Umbau. Damals (2000) war es schon perfekt und hat sich bis heute super gehalten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus. Es war großzügig und sehr gut aufgeteilt. Der Charme Thailands und der Menschen beeindruckt uns immer wieder. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! We ve stayed in the A19 A&B bungalows at the Palm Beach for eight nights. Not in its first youth, this spacious resort has lovely gardens and good service. After having spent nearly a month in Thailand we could definately say that the quality and variety of their breakfast was the best we ve had. On the downside, certain outdoor air-condition units were too noisy to use at night. The pool in use was too small for the size of the resort. In addition, on the seaside of the pool there is a raised wooden structure with sunbeds for just a few guests, which nearly blocks the excellent view to the sea. The beachfront of the resort is probably the most extensive of all in Boh Put and you will never feel crowded, but the plastic sunbeds need replacement. PS. Avoid the independent massage establishment on the beach, next to the resort on the right. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Samui Palm Beach Resort - Bo Phut The resort is in a nice position and about a 15min walk from Fisherman’s Village. The staff are friendly, welcoming and competent. There are two swimming pools but the one by the beach is for all guests whereas the other tends to be for guest in rooms that overlook the pool. There is a beach bar but unfortunately it is the only one and another inside near the lounge would be an added advantage. We stayed in a Beach Front Villa with terrace and private garden with reserved sun loungers and only a few steps to the beach. However, the room furniture does not live up to the room rate and has limited cupboard and draw space. One irritation was guest from the villas situated behind would use our garden as short cut to the beach. The breakfast buffet is the same as most holiday resorts nowadays with an Egg Station for those wanting fried eggs or omelettes. The eggs are great but the queue waiting for them to be cooked spoils the breakfast. They should cook enough and layout with the rest of the buffet, which would make it easier for guests and the staff. There are few restaurants outside; the Kingfisher is good and reasonable. Having looked a few other resorts on the walk to the Fisherman’s Village, which are much more expensive, I would say Samui Palm Beach is good value for money.

The hotel environment was quiet, even though the occupancy rate was high, which suited us very well as we were on our honeymoon. We had a pleasant surprise when we were presented with a Honeymoon chocolate cake. The beach was sunny but had a COOL breeze in mid-Dec and we could sit for hours on the deck chairs. Cupboards a bit musty smelling inside but this does not take away from the overall satisfaction that we had staying at Samui Palm Beach Resort. 1 proposal for improvement is to change the breakfast menu as guests staying there long term would want to try some variety. A good quality resort. Only 10 minutes walk from the Fisherman s village and with quite a few local restaurants close by. Fantastic views from the front pool and restaurant over the bay, complete with palm trees, islands and boats. However unless you pay for the beach front villas, you don t get much of a view from the rooms themselves. And if you happen to be there on your birthday, you get a birthday cake! Stort skrytbygge som verkar igenbommat i vissa delar. Dock helt ok rum och bra pool nere vid den fina men grovkorniga stranden. Dyr frukost om man inte förbokat det, 400 Bath per person. Vi åt i stället på ibis precis bredvid. Ligger lite offside.

Hotel byl velmi příjemný. Leží na severu Koh Samui. Na rozdíl od Chawengu moře čistější. Pokoj prostorný, vybaven varnou konvicí a lednicí. Klimatizace mírně hlučnější. Úklid bezproblémový. Bazén jsme využili jen jednou. Na pláži chodí místní prodejci s různým zbožím a jídlem. Nejsou dotěrní, stačí jen jednou říci či naznačit nezájem. Celkově hodnotím pobyt jako velmi příjemný, hotel přímo u moře, hodící se i pro děti. Doprava do Chawengu pomocí hotelového minibusu 20.00 tam a 23.00hod. zpět zdarma. Dále možnost půjčení skútru. Dojezd do Chawengu do 15minut. V okolí hotelu levné a kvalitní prádelny. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Maison beatch front très calme, propre, asser petite pour une famille de 4 personnes car il a fallut rajouter 2 lits pliables. Cependant cet hôtel est en rénovation et la première maison proposée se trouvait en face du chantier de la piscine, donc bruit et vue... Le personnel est très chaleureux et au petits soins. Great hotel with friendly staff, I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with great sea views, just 5 steps and we were on the beach. No internet in the rooms you need to go to reception, it is a free connection, but good improvement point could be to have this in all rooms. Lots to do outside the hotel with day trips, the money spent on those can add up fast so allow for this in your budgets, good local eating places within walking distance of the hotel, and very good high end eating a short and cheap taxi drive away [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Excellent.3rd stay at Samui Palm Beech Resort.Will stay again in 2011 and will reccomend to family and friends.We stayed first time in 1989.Same room type each year which was excellent.Staff at Reception, Housekeeping,Garden,Breakfast and Restaurant were excellent and friendly and helpful.Please say thanks to them.Samui Palm Beech was our first placeof stay in Thailand in 2010 and we hope to do the same in 2011 same dates. BEAUTIFUL RESORT!!! Everything is excellent. We stayed in beachfront villa A01 which is right on the beach, it has private beach beds. The villa is not the best quality, not the brand new furniture but the location and facilities compensate it pretty much. We had small and kids swimming poools right beside our villa which was great as we travelled with 4y.o. son and he was thrilled with the faciliies, huge chess. Th food in restaurants is quite god but we dined mostly in the city on Chaweng beach. The hotel is very peaceful and green. I wish there could be more facilities for kids like playground or at least playroom with toys like in Peace hotel nearby. Also they lack kids channel on TV so we had to buy some cartoons and play them on our DVD player. The staff is friendly and nice. We liked BoPhut beach since it is not that noisy as Chaweng and still not far from shops and Chaweng. We have no complaints about this hotel, only some recommendations for improvements - more kids amusements, at least kids channel, as most people travel with kids. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel is superb with 3 pools and a variety of excellent accommodation, we had a beach / pool view bungalow absolutely perfect. Location on a busy road main entrance with a few bars and resturaunts pen at night. Right at the beach side where there are plenty of other bars and eating places away from traffic noise. Well worth a 10 minute walk along beach to Fishermans village great for an evening drink and meal. You don t have to pay resturaunt prices, there are local places with wonderful food all on sea front. The whole holiday was an experience my wife and I will never forget. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed in a beachfront bungalow which is in the oldest part of the resort. More modern additions (apartment style) have subsequently been made. The Accommodation and location were fine, but communal areas can best be described by the phrase faded elegance and are in need of some renovation. The only negative would be the attitude of Restaurant staff particularly at breakfast. The service was disorganised and unfriendly. This is not what one comes to expect in Thailand and gives a negative impression on an otherwise great stay. The room maids and reception staff were very helpful and efficient.

The hotel is overpriced for the quality of the rooms, the service and the restaurant. This is a good place for kids and families who don t care too much about the details or are not used to what Thai design and service can and should be like. I have been to Thailand between 35-40 timesand this place was just not up to standards at this price. We got a Villa which was nothing more than a good sized room. There were marks on the walls, cracks in the caulking and dried mold along the caulking in the bathroom. The room was otherwise nice, but for the price, it should have been much better appointed. Two days in a row, we were only given one beach towel because they ran out. We were told the other would be delivered first thing in the morning. The first day I chased them three times before we finally got our second towel afternoon. The second day, I had to go find housekeeping because it was not delivered. The restaurant is very mediocre. The Peace Hotel down the beach a few hundred meters has a better setting, better food and better service for half the price. Zazen is the best food on the island and is only a hundred meters the other way on the beach, but the people at the front desk won t tell you about either of these. Instead, we were directed to Poppies as the best restaurant on the island. Not only was it 300 bt each way and a 20 minute ride, but the food was like haut rather than nuevelle cuisine. It was nowhere near as good as Zazen s restaurant. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very fast response time from Sawasdee. My only request is that the website offers an option to have other hotels recommended if the one that is chosen is not available. We opted for that but was never send the other options. When we tried several other hotels, we got a response immediately.
