Very friendly staff and great service wish I had booked direct with Ann at Sans Souci as free transfers would have been great also . Very HArd mattress but cleaning staff were excellent to leave lounge chair mattresses under the sheets each day. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I like this hotel very much. good location, good environment, just have sea behind, very nice feeling. just feel relax here. I love Sans souci Samui, the reception girl are learning Chinese and very good, very lovely, very warm reception.

In a great location (south of Chaweng beach), 30 BHT far from the crowdy and full of surprises center our front beach bungalow and its terrace made us dream with eyes open. It is a quiet resort with with no pool but a beautiful tropical garden and basins with exotic fishes. For us missing pool made the garden so enjoyable. Serving breakfast on our sea terrace makes us feel great and the teastfull meals were provided all times during the staing. Very good cleaning services, very good kitchen … if the personel don’t understand you ask Mrs. Bow – the manager. Accomodation Tip: book/ask for room no. 1 or no. 2. Meal tip: ask for a fish plateau. Simply, I don t have minuses.

A lovely place, though not famous nor big. However with a lovely garden and restaurant. The restaurant is just beside the beach, very good atmosphere to have breakfast or dinner there. The room is big and very clean, I also like the toilet for the natural light from the roof. The air condition is quite well. It s located in the southern part of Chawen beach, so more quiet. Foods there are quite well with good staffs. We can rent new automatic gear motorcycle here directly without deposit fee because they say we are their guest, who they trust. The fee is 200 Baht only for 24 hours. Definitely my first choice stay in Chawen. Still miss there after go back to Taiwan my home. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The location of this hotel is far from the party area. Great if you are looking for a quiet area of Chaweng beach, but if you do want to go to the bars, expect to take a taxi as it is too far for walking. In regards to the hotel: reception is only manned with an English speaking person until 10pm, during that time service is very good, after 10pm the hotel kind of stops, no service at all. Although there is a guard, it is not full security. About the room: the shower needs modernisation as it would be nice to adjust the temperature. It is not a bad hotel, but I expected a bit better for what I paid per night [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Nice, clean and quiet sandy beach at the very south of Chaweng. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. The hotel kithen offers very good and very cheep thaifood. The beach is excellent for couples who seek a romantic atmosfair. Maybe not the first choice if you are in to some party. Directly infront of the beach, you can get massage for one hour from 200THB and up. The hotel breakfast that is included offers you four optional variations, and you will certanly find your own favorite. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow with a stunning view over the ocean. We will absolutly stay at the Sans Souci hotel on our next visit to Chaweng Beach. It was great, thank you all!!

My husband and I are from America and spent our 31st anniversary in Thialand. We made reservations at Sans Souci Samui for one week b/c of so many hotels to choose. After spending only two nights we asked Bow if she had room for us to stay our entire 12 days. We knew this was the hotel for us. All employees are great (so helpful) - food/restaurant were wonderful - rooms/hotel very clean and location is perfect. Will definitely go back and only stay with our friends at this great hotel. Petit hôtel vraiment très agréable, sympathique, tranquille, plage impeccable pas besoin de se lever tôt pour réserver les chaises longues. Hello, I really can only recommend the Sans Souci, its such a nice, calm place at the nicest beach in Chaweng near Chaweng Noi, and I hope, that all stays as it is at the moment, as this is an oasis in busy chaweng beach, I can relax here, bungalows are very nice and staff very helpful and friendly!!

We loved the hotel,on southern part of Chaweng beach.It was peaceful,clean and the sea was better than the north Chaweng.It was a little far from the action but you can walk or take the local transportation.The hotel is very clean,has a beautiful garden.The rooms were unique,a bit dark but makes the room cool. As sea lover this hotel was perfect for me,only steps away from the beach. It didn t have a pool but I never missed it. The breakfast is American.It is not so nice to eat the same thing over and over again but it was nicely prepared.We had lunch at the hotel and we loved it.Ms.Bow took very good care of us,the staff were kind and polite. The booking was fast and easy but I have two complaints. First one is when we arrived at the hotel we saw that they don t accept credit cards which was a surprise for us. The second one was the transfer price we paid was 900 baht with Sawadee while the hotel offered 500 baht.

A wonderful, welcoming haven at the southern, quiet end of Chaweng beach. Clean rooms, friendly staff and an amazing location. Both of our sons had motorcycle accidents whilst there and Bow, the manager, went out of her way to make sure they were well taken care of. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The hotel is beautiful, so clean and well-maintained.The facilities were wonderful; everything we needed!The best part was that the beach was only a few steps away from the door - heaven!Staff were very friendly, meals were wonderful and the rooms were perfect.The surrounding gardens were so tranquil, I was even happy to stay at the hotel all day!I am definitely going to return!

On our 4th visit to Chaweng we found Sans Souci Samui to be a delightful little hotel - very well run by Manageress Bow and her staff - the rooms were spotless,with clean linen, towels, etc every day. The rooms are set in a lovely tropical garden, only meters from the beach. The beach at this end of Chaweng is infinitely preferable to the other end - it is clean and quiet with plenty of water - not affected by the reef further up. The menu was very reasonably priced and the quality of the food excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Absolutely wonderful. I picked Sans Souci because i wanted somewhere away from the noise but no far enough away that i couldnt go make some noise if i wanted. The staff there are all more than helpful and understanding (we locked ourselves out several times but no porblem with 24hr front desk). Housekeeping is fantastic and of a high standard. The room service was excellent also (one of the best Tom Yum goong ive ever had). I reccommend this place for everybody you wont be dissapointed. So glad i stayed here and will definitely return but with a large group of my friends next time!!

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly the whole week we were here. It had a really family feel and all the staff knew us every time we came back to reception for our key, something I doubt that would occur in the larger resorts. Our room was really spacious, as was the shower and bathroom. The manager, Bow, booked us a taxi back to the airport which was less than what we paid coming from the airport. The whole place was kept meticulously clean and our room was made up every day. The whole ambience was delightful - lovely tropical plants growing everywhere and our room was next to a pond with huge goldfish swimming around. There were delightful statues with taps for washing the sand off after going to the beach which was about 30 metres from our room. The alfresco breakfast was included every day - it was simple but started our day with something in our stomachs. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Paradise... is all I can say about Koh Samui..... the hotel is in an excellant location (Walk from my room to the beach 5 meters & only a 5 min walk to the night life) staff were very good. I stayed at the Sans Souci Samui 23 days over Christmas & New Year had a fantastic time. Bow & Na are so helpful nothing is too much trouble, the rest of the staff are all polite happy smiley people. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. The food is excellent, I don’t think I should say anymore just in case there is no room for me when I return. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stayed at this resort for 2 days and it was a lovely place. Its situated right at the other end of chaweng beach which was the quieter end of the beach. It took about 10-15 mins to walk/start getting near the centre of chaweng. There was a building site right next door which we didn t expect but it didn t spoil our stay. We stayed in the a deleuxe beachfront appartment which was really spacious, view of the beach, staff were ok. Other residents were quite potentious which spoilt it for us but it was ok for the 2 nights [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

It was lucky for us to choose Sans Souci Samui to spend our holidays.The small Thai-style hotel is very sweet,and the room is always clean and comfortable.We live the delux room which was inches away form the beach for 4 nights,enjoy the sunshine at daytime and waves sounds at night.The staff are very kind and helpful,as well as the local people whenever we met.We love Samui-the pure and cute island!It gave us a lot of memories of fantastic sceneries and wonderful leisure time!We will definitly be back to Samui in future,and Sans Souci Samui will always be our first choice!

A lovely hotel with beautiful beach. I was supposed to stay two days, but when I compared it with other hotels, I decided to stay for more days. The service is excellent, especially the recetion, nana, is wonderful. The only question is that the hotel is a little far away from the centre of Chaweng Beach and need twenty minutes of walk. But to me this is not the problem. I am pursueing the peach rather than noise [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks in samui Although we travelled around for most of our time there we started and ended our trip at the Sans Souci Hotel.We enjoyed our first few nights there so much with its wonderful,friendly staff we felt we had to return to wind down before our trip home.Nothing was to much trouble for the very polite & professional manager,she helped anyway she could and arranged our return to the airport at a frction of the cost when we booked ...We would recommend this hotel to anyone

A wonderful little hotel at the end of Chaweng beach. It dosent look much when you arrive but we really loved it. Bow, the manager is excellent and she really makes you feel as her guests. The beach at the hotel is defintely the best in chaweng, the rooms are clean and the showers are good even the food is very good. We enjoyd it so much that we returned after 2 weeks and stayed for 3 moore nights and next time at Koh Samui there will be no doubts of where we will stay. Very good value for money. Avevamo prenotato al San Souci per tre notti,dopo aver letto le varie recensioni positive di tutti i clieni;avevamo inizialmente prenotato una deluxe vista mare situata al primo piano.Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo avuto una piacevole conferma e anzi siamo rimasti più che piacevolmente sorpresi di constatare che era meglio di quanto fosse descritto e di quanto le foto potessero rendere.La prima camera era molto spaziosa,arredate nello stile tipico Thai,molto confortevole e pulita.Visto l esito positivo,abbiamo deciso di prolungare il nostro soggiorno per altri 8 giorni ma ci siamo spostati in un bungalow,leggermente più piccolo ma sempre confortevole,con una bella terrazzina affacciata sul giardino e su un laghetto pieno di enormi pesci. Perfettamente collocato alla fine della bella spiaggia di Chaweng,attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni,a soli 5 minuti dal centro,l albergo di sole 23 camere è immerso in giardino tropicale curatissimo,molto carino e tranquillo,accanto c è un cantiere aperto per la costruzione di un nuovo complesso alberghiero ma vi assicuro che non da il minimo fastidio. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile,sono maniaci della pulizia(ogni giorni veniva cambiata la biancheria della camera,asciugamani e teli mare),Bow,la responsabile dell albergo è estremamente carina e gentile,sempre disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi problema.Hanno un ottimo risorante,con prezzi irrisori;la colazione,compresa nel prezzo,era ricca,abbondante e varia. It was our first stay at Sans Souci Samui, but surely not our last. The Rooms are very nice and clean, the food is very good and the Beach is the best and cleanest of Chaweng. Quiet at Night and just 10 minutes to walk to Nightlife ! Special thanks to Bow at the Reception. She s the Soul of that Place. The other Staff was also very kind and attentive! It was a wonderful vacation and I can highly recommend that Place! Two Thumbs up!

Raccomando questo hotel vivamente.E un hotel carinissimo alla fine della spiaggia di Chaweng,in una zona tranquilla non infestata dal traffico delle moto d acqua e in uno dei tratti di spiaggia più belli.L hotel è piccolino,immerso in un giardino di piante curatissime,23 bungalow carinissimi, pulizia giornaliera, cortesia massima da parte dello staff,ristorante ottimo con prezzi davvero ridicoli.Lo consiglio fortemente-Very nice hotel,clear,staff friendly,restaurant very good,very nice beach. This was my second stay at Sans Souci Samui. I really like the hotel, the rooms are very clean and the people who work there are friendly. The food is great. There is no pool, but the hotel is located right on the beach, the best part of the beach I might add. The price is reasonable for what you receive. This place is great for families, couples and for people travelling alone as you can easily meet people here. I would definitely stay as Sans Souci again. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I booked 2 nights first because I did nt know this hotel before and I stayed for 7 nights and then I flew home. I cant say much about the usual every day business at Sans Souci Samui since I was sick and spent the most of the time in my room. But its surely a very nice, clean athmosphere with large bungalows and terraces. And the most important thing to me: a very helpful manager, she is the heart and the power of this hotel and did so much for me. Thank you so much Bow (and your crew)!(AND: Dear Bow, please contact me, I just can t find your E-mail-address anymore. Maybe sawadee can give this over to you, I hope so. Just come back from a stay at Sans Souci hotel and a good hotel for the money paid,friendly staff,pleasant surroundings,close to or right on beach,room was bit dark but clean and comfortable,no hot water in our room though (No14) but cold was bearable. very laid back hotel on a nice part of the beach.Hotel could make more money by asking guests when around the beach area would you like a drink or something to eat,as we had to keep going to reception for that. Also there is a large building project going on at present right next door to hotel so ask for room on the other side,say for next 6 months at least. Also was not informed of the building work being carried out, but not too much noise. all in all a pleasant stay and would recommend. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The thing that struck me was that on the checking in form at the desk, there is a question asking how many times you had stayed here before - because people will return time and time again! It was my first time, and a very easy, simple, friendly place it was too. Absolutely on the beach, and although no pool, the sea is right there. Don t expect 5 star luxury as the rooms are fairly basic, yet perfectly fine. And yes, I ll be looking forward to adding next time that it will be my second time back! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I can fully recommend the place. First look was that Wow, this is small so is this OK? . Room was near the restaurant so is room noisy? But soon we noticed that we had made perfect choice. Actually we spend one more night after we came back from Koh Tao before leaving Samui. PROS: - Personnel is helpful and service is good. - Clean rooms - Peaceful althought road is near - Beach is close and cleaned every morning. That cannot be said about other hotels. - Beach is nice for kids. - Water is clear, north end of the Chaweng has dirty water - Comfortable beds. Usually stone hard but not in here. - Short walk to the restaurants etc. CONS: - No pool if you require that - Breakfast is limited compared to big hotels buffet. Might be boring if you stay long (that happens in every hotel) There were construction work on next site but at least now it was noisy and they stopped work at decent time. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great hotel with the nicest beach. Very quiet and clean compared to the busier side of town. Only a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants/shop in town. We never needed a taxi during our stay. Front desk is very helpful with local excursion info and will negotiate discounts for you. Also will set up taxi to/from airport for you. Very attentive to detail.

We got the room with sea view on the 1st floor and it was great. Very quiet, but you could hear the waves -- nice! Food was good, service very attentive, no problems whatsoever. Locationwise: for us, it was great since we wanted to stay at a quiet place and if you wanna go shopping or for dinner inland you can always hop onto one of the taxis which will bring you there for 100baht (3USD) in 3 minutes, but this hotel is certainly far away from the main party area. As for the price: For those who have been to Thailand before and think that 3000 Baht is expensive, I agree, but it will be hard to find something on the beach with air-con etc. for this price, so to sum up, great value and a great stay [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Sans Souci lives up to it s name - no cares no worries. The hotel was clean, well appointed, good food, lovely beach, beautiful setting and well cared for landscaping. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Decor is old dark wood - very comfortable. Room was large and airy - great balcony - good bed - everything you need but a phone - and I was glad not to have one. I d go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Not right in the thick of parties and disco which also suited me well. You could walk to the night life or take a cab for very reasonable price. Thank you Sans Souci. Brilliant location, just far enough out of the main town to be peaceful and idyllic but close enough for all partying and shopping. Could not believe the gardens, amazing, cleaned and tended to every day. Right on the beach, it s like a private beach and has own massage hut so you can have massage on beach in the shade. Excellent customer service, staff could not do enough for us. Booked this hotel after reading reviews on this site and glad we did!! Will definitely return.

A lovely, lovely place to visit..... I can t imagine it being much better...... Five minutes south of the serious crowded traffic......and therefore quiet......and a five-minute walk to anything you would need (ATM, pharmacy, good food, etc.)......Beautiful people running this place, gracious and full of life......Food so good and so inexpensive that I confess I ate most of my meals at the hotel......Deluxe bungalow just steps from the water.........Such a terrific deal......THE ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW IN ADVANCE -- CAUGHT ME WAY OFF GUARD (but DEFINITELY not worth going elsewhere for) IS THAT THEY DON T TAKE CREDIT CARDS. GUESTS HAVE TO PAY IN CASH. It s a policy that ought to change. But considering the incredibly gracious service, the delicious, way-inexpensive food, and the beauty and quiet of the setting, as someone who s traveled a LOT, this is one of my top five deals anywhere. We LOVED this hotel! Clean, GREAT staff, great service. Without charge, they came to the rooms with the breakfast every morning. If you are looking for a place in the middle of everything, this is not the place though. We have a small child and did not want to be next to all the party places, and this was the perfect place for that. In the evenings, we took a cab to the great restaurants (50 bath per person), and during the days, we were right on the best part of the Chaweng Beach. They do not have a swimming pool though, that is the only thing missing at this place. But you are 10 meters from the sea! I will definitely stay here again! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Good. Safe and serious. Although, they were not very nice when I asked if we could get reduced room price since we got a message that our seaview room did not have full sea view. I got the answer I am sure someone alse want this room if you don t take it . All I did was ask, and it seemed natural that a seaview room with limited seaview should cost less than the exakt same room with full seaview. Although, when I got there, I understood why, the room was GREAT and had a big terrace. I was worth every single bath!

I had time before my holiday to read all of the reviews for the hotels on Chewang Beach and all of the reviews of this hotel were great. I was not disappointed after my stay. I stayed at Sans Souci for 11 days and after walking up and down the beach many times, I realized that we did pick the best place to stay. I would highly reccommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, affordable, relaxing vacation away from the party area on Chaweng Beach. Don t be discouraged though, with only a 15 minute walk, you are in the heart of the shopping/bar district. We will return! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Yet again the staff have shown just how fantastic they are. They can t do enough in a low key, attentive but not in your face way. During our stay they coped very well with a medical emergency,and the paramedics arrived within minutes. The furniture in the rooms is tired and old but everything is immaculate. We would like to recommend Miss Bow in particular. A great stay and we will be back again.

The hotel was perfect,clean,very nice staff,very nice food,good breakfast,we stayed at the beachfront so the only noise we heard when we were going to sleep was the sound of the waves,in the morning when you wake up you can have your breakfast at your on terrce or at the outdoor restaurang 10 meters from the beach.walking distance to Chaweng city or 40 baht on a TUKTUK about 8 sek. Sans Souci is a very cosy and relaxed little hotel situated on the lower end of Chaweng, about 5 mins walk from where the action begins. The best thing about staying at Sans Souci, is that you have the beach right on your doorstep, one of the most beautiful beaches i have seen, away from the busiest part yet a couple of minutes to the action. So you could have relaxing quiet days indulging in a massage on the beach or walk up to the busiest part and ride a jet ski, go skiing, play volleyball etc... The service at Sans Souci was impeccable, Bow in particular was a gem, she speaks english very very well and was able to provide us with some great tips on what to do etc... The hotel its self is very clean (and was cleaned daily) with all the amenities you need. Its is not a five star hotel however its comfortable and clean. The food at Sans Souci was also very good, always fresh and plentiful. As a tip i highly recommend booking the transfers from the airport to the hotel prior as it works out much cheaper that way. I can not fault this hotel in any way.. Ive been to Koh Samui 5 timesand would normally stay in the Beachcomber,but i will be staying at the Sans Souci from now on..My Husband, Mother, Father, My Son Oakley who is 17 months old (and sends big kisses X X X X to Bow (manageress) Kik, Na, Thong and all the staff)and Myself stayed for 13 nights over the Xmas and Newyear and didnt encounter any problems what so ever... the staff are fabulous (my Son Oakley adores them all) ... the rooms are spotless .. the beach is located at the quiet end of Chewang and by far the best part.. perfect ... The food is beautifully presented and taste superb..i really can t fault it in any way.. i will be booking again as soon as the flight prices come out in feb..

If you are thinking of going to Sans Souci let me save you some time, stop thinking and book up! Fantastic, we had a great time and the staff are first class and very friendly. Value for money and very quite and pieceful as it is located at the end of the beach. If you want busy simply walk along the beach a way as for going into town there are lifts available every few minutes right into late at night. Food was excellant and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels including seperate beach towels. I will be back without a doubt, thanks to all for a great time.

What you ve read from other travelers about this resort is pretty well spot on. The staff is truly kind and accommodating, working tirelessly to ensure their guests satisfaction. Their flexibility and genuine caring nature really made my wife and I feel like we had the best of being at home and in a tropical retreat. Our room, like most all of the ones here, was just steps from the water, yet quite reasonable. Koh Samui has become a bit of a tourist trap, yet the good folks at Sans Souci at least keep the prices competitive in the tours, dining, and lodging on offer compared to all others on this beach. I spent a month on Samui about 20 years ago--which was back when you d WANT to spend a month there, a few days will now be sufficient --and the crowding, pollution and general exploitation of the land and tourists there is quite a contrast. Nobody really takes ownership of the beaches, so even the good ones seem overdeveloped. There is construction going on even next door to the San Souci, though the noise was not an issue. Still, you can relax here and be very well looked after. The décor and landscaping are also charming. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Before I can comment about the hotel I feel I must discuss the current state of Samui. Or at least how I found it. I have been a regular and frequent visitor to Samui for the past 5 years and on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. Granted bad weather was affccting the situation, but I have never seen Chaweng beach in such a dirty condition. Storm debris and litter was washed up on the beach. The response from the locals was that this was the result of recent monsoons. Nonetheless, a first time visitor would have been horrified. I stayed on Samui for 2 hours and caught the next flight to Phuket. I would like to say Phuket (especially Patong) is looking excellent. The lady on reception at Sans Souci was ecellent, she organised the flight without hesitation. So, regards Sans Souci I can highly recommend the level of service. As for Chaweng, would it be too difficult for each hotel to clear the beach each morning. It would be very pleasing for the visitor. I will go back to Samui, but I will check the weather report prior. Most probably, at the time of writing this review (2 weeks later), everything is back to its pristine normal condition. This was a nice place to stay in the busy Chaweng Beach. It is right at the end, almost getting towards Lamai. The location means it s a longish walk to get into the heart of Chaweng (20mins)but this wasn t too much of a problem for us. Because of the location the beach front is quieter than further up the beach which was great. Breakfast was good (set menu) and the menu for lunch and dinner was VERY reasonably priced (you wouldn t have needed to eat anywhere else). The minuses were, the air con made noises during the night which kept us from sleeping well and the hot water liked to keep turning itself off (you had to get the manager to come and fix it). The room was dark but clean and comfortable - sheets changed every day and new beach towels. The staff were friendly. All in all a good stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

San Souci is without a doubt the best place you could possibly stay in while on Koh Samui. Being perfectly situated at the bottom of the ‘strip’ it give you the best of both worlds – quite surrounding and a magnificent beach but only 2minutes in a tuk tuk or a short walk from the heart of the town! The hotel and rooms are beautifully kept, being surrounded by exotic gardens gives you the feeling of being in some 5* paradise hotel. The food was always flawless, great selection for breakfast and dinner was better that most restaurants in the town and cheaper! The staff are extremely friendly and are please to help you organise excursions, day trips…ect The manager Bow is always on hand to make your stay the best it can be and not forgetting the ‘boy’ who permanently has a great smile to greet you! The beach is the best on the strip, it’s very clean and quite and the sea is beautiful – in central chawang the beach is covered in water sport boats, massage ladies, traders selling everything – very busy! I would recommend San Souci to anybody who is looking for a little piece of paradise to escape to. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The hotel was wonderful, with very,very friendly staff. The accomodation was very comfortable,and the food excellent, with enough variety to suit even the fussiest of eaters. I would highly recommend this hotel,especially for families as the beach has to be the best part of chaweng by far!! We would go back!

What a find! This small complex of beach apartments is at the quieter (southern) end of Chaweng Beach but within 2-3 minutes walk of all the bars, markets and shops. The staff are wonderfully attentive, diligent and credit goes to Bow, the manager, who runs a great place. The rooms are very clean, well laid out and who wants a swimming pool when you can swim from the wonderful beach morning, noon and night! A good breakfast and water is included, with additional food and drinks being reasonably priced. We were supposed to moved to a 6,000 baht boutique hotel for the last few nights but when we saw the rooms and location of the botique hotel we checked out and returned to Sans Souci Samui immediately! If you are looking for quiet and relaxing then I can t recommend Sans Souci enough.

It is charming small home hotel with impressive garden. The best place of all Chaweng for where you can enjoy tranquility and memories about early (end of 90th, onset 2000) Chaweng. Breakfast a la cart, but it is no problem for you if you don t need have american and continental breakfast simultaneously. Spaceious room and one-step-near beach turn you into lazy-bones. It is not quite bad. Unfortunately, I have to mark two inconveniences. First, breakfast is ended really at 10 a.m. You think is normal, but the hotel is too small that you started involuntarily thinking that limitation is extreme. Second, sewerage is reliable not always. I have to notice these discomforts is sufficiently negligible. Single place of Chaweng where I would like return. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

It was our first stay at Sans Souci, and we will definately return - which we actually already did, as we changed our travel plans to go back and spend the last 10 days of our 3 week vacation. This is a small family owned and homelike resort, which means that you from day 1 don t have to say in which bungalow you re staying in order to have dinner, coffee or breakfast served at your bungalow. The staff is very helpful and ready to assist you in every matter. The resort is located at the southern part of Chaweng, which means you will have to rent a bike if you want to go dining or shopping. The beach is beautiful and less crowded than in other parts of Chaweng Beach. The spacious bungalows are thouroughly cleaned every day (we stayed in number 14 and 15 right at the beach), and your towels and beach towels are replaced every day as well. We have stayed at far more expensive resorts at Samui with less service, space and atmosphere. This is not a 5 star resort (look at the price) but the value for money is really great! We loved our time at Sans Souci and once back at Samui this will definately be the place to stay for us. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We were in room 9 very comfortable, good A/C, clean and tidy. Beautiful grounds and ideally located for peaceful nights and access to the beach (literally down the steps!!!!). Staff wonderful, food wow. If we were to visit Koh Samui again this would be our first choice of hotel.

Sans Souci is a very nice, quiet and small hotel.The stuff is very friendly and do everything for a nice stay.The rooms are big and very clean.Bathroom was big and very clean as well and the aircon does its work with silence.There are no complainings about the bungalows.The garden with fish ponds and flowers in the middle of the area is beautiful and you are close to the cristal clear sea.our 4th stay at samui was brilliant.but:nothing for party people and be careful;many mosquitos! Pretty quiet small hotel for people up to 30. Breakfast is now from 7.30 till 10 a.m. (small, no buffet but therefore cheap). The food at the restaurant taste s very good but the service is sometimes a little bit slowly but very friendly. The rooms are clean and nice (air condition, TV, fridge, bathroom, towel service incl.). A swimmingpool and facility s for children are not available but therefore the hotel is very quiet and next to the wonderful beach. I will come bak again. Booking service by sawadee was all right. The booked pick up service was not waiting at the airport but youseing the private minibus-service you can book at the desk next to the bagage claim in the arrival hall (use not the expensive limosine/taxi service) was therefore cheaper (THB 100,-) and also good.

Our 4th time on Samui - it was nice as always. Sans Souci was as expected a cosy family-style resort. Very nice and attentive service, good location (out of the busy area but easy to reach the center, good beach location for swimming and really great accomodation. Our near the beach bungalow was great - the best we have had during out stays at Samui. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is a la card and does the job. So if you dont need to have a pool - its a very nice place to stay at Chaweng beach. Thanks again to the team at Sans Souci !!

Very nice place with fantastic staff. Good spacious rooms with pretty sit outs. Clean bathrooms and rooms 10 steps away from the beach. The entire hotel atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming to all quests. Even after we checked in the hotel, the reservation desk did not ask us to make any deposits etc. The front desk staff (Mr. Bond) was very helpful in organizing things for us. He helped us with renting bikes, shopping etc. and also telling us about cheaper options for things around the hotel (e.g. where we could get cheaper fuel etc.) Overall a GREAT EXPERIENCE made by the GREAT staff and hotel.
