We has been very happy staying on this hotel, until this year. Restaurant is only for Chinese detox guest, you have to go up on a restaurant on the main road for breakfast. Every morning you see Chinese guest with a clear bucket containing their bowel after bowel cleansing. Every morning at 7 AM there were yoga/gym for Chinese people with loud music around the pool,so no sleeping after 7 AM. At least change your homepage for the Hotel, so people can see what kind of resort you have turned into. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

It is no more a beach resort. It is a detox health Resort, but nobody told us about this big Change!!! Every morning we had to go out of the resort for breakfast, because the restaurant at the beach was blocked for the detox guests. They carried their excretions in White buckets through the hotel and the terrible stink came to it. The staff at the Front desk was unfriendly! IT was our Third time in the Hotel but the last! Because the two times before we were happy there but this time it was the worst holiday ever!!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We came three years ago.verry desapointed.smell very bad in the bathroom. Can t take breakfast in the terrasse in front of the beach but on the road.the hôtel work for japanese operator ,so a lot of activity in the hotel for their detox program. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Находится в конце пляжа, расположение удачное, рядом много дешевых (по сравнению с центром) кафе. Из плюсов: -Хороший завтрак -Дешевая прачечная сразу на углу Из минусов: -Очень маленький бассейн -Кондиционер в номере НЕЛЬЗЯ включать ниже 25 градусов, иначе перегрев и отключение кондера. Это написано в буклете к номеру. -Очень шумно от мотоциклов и рекламирующих машин -Не меняли расходники (шампунь, мыло), хотя мы были 3 дня -Была ситуация, когда мы вернулись и нашу комнату убирали - дверь комнаты распахнута, уборщицы нет! Ждали ее минут 10. Так что ценные вещи вообще оставлять нельзя Located at the end of the beach, near a lot of cheap (in comparison with the center) cafe. Advantages: -Good breakfast -Cheap laundry right on the corner Disadvantages: -Very small swimming pool -Air conditioner in the room can not be turned on below 25 degrees, otherwise overheating and turning off. This is written in the booklet to the room. -Very noisy from motorcycles and advertising cars -Hotel did not change the consumables (shampoo, soap), although we were here 3 days -We had the situation when we returned and our room was under cleaning - but the door of the room was open, the cleaning lady was absent! The weather was not on any side but Seascape Is not a 5 star place. Rating about 1 star depending on no friendly stafff at receptiion ( kick them) , no good breakfast , and ugly smell around some (and in one of the bungalows). This hotel will I absolutly come back to. The service in reseption and londry not so good. No smiles. But everybody else working for this hotel was so cute and nice. Made me feel like home or family. The room which was near the reseption was bigger then expected with a bathtub and all. Ok, it was a bit noisy from mopeds and cars, but the most noisy people was the drunk englishmen next door. They should have been somewhere else, not this family hotel away from the center. Small pool, great for kids, but I did not use it because you have the most beautiful beach right there. The best location in Chaweng

Очень хороший, тихий отель, зеленая территория, пляж отличный. Отдыхали в семейном бунгало, очень просторная комната, одна большая кровать и две поменьше. Есть сейф. Душ, без ванны. Минус- нет фена и немного шумный кондиционер. В других номерах- стандартных, сейфа нет. Персонал все вопросы решает быстро. В общем, отель очень понравился, были на Самуи в четвертый раз, так что есть с чем сравнивать [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Were from July 02 to July 14, 2015 all family. Excellent hotel! Very modest registration of a reception doesn t speak about bad service yet. The hotel would pull on 4 * if in number there was a teapot and the hair dryer. The rest everything is excellent, you feel at home. Purity ideal in everything. Everywhere fresh repair. Close to the middle of the action at Chaweng Beach. Easy to walk to night market, restaurants and other attractions. 5 Star room with all the facilities you need. Pool was a bit disappointing. Nice Bar and restaurant area with a great breakfast.

Die letzte schöne Anlage am Chaweng beach. Typisch thailändisch ist nicht alles perfekt aber alle sind sehr hilfbereit und es ist eine gute Stimmung in der Anlage, trotzdem aber ruhig.

Stayed in a bungalow near the pool. Quite ok. I had a sqeeking bed and it was too hard in my taste. Otherwise the room was good. Restaurant food was good and great service. Evenings on the beach, nice! We were there when there were big waves and those reached the hotel wall. Yodchai was a social person that cheared up and played with all. Highly appreciated person.

For the price I paid, I was expecting less. For paying a third of the price I paid for a hotel last year there was no difference in room size or quality. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good, pool was good. Massage at the poolside is one of the best I have had in thailand Amazing!!! Thanks Seascape

The room is ok, the swimming pool is small, the breakfast could be better ( for example with unlimited bacon ), and there should be more sunbeds in the sand. But we are satisfied with the staff services, and the most important thing is : the resort is on the best part of Chaweng Beach! The beach front is amazing, the water is warm and crystal clear. ( We walked along Chaweng beach and there are big differences in sea water quality. ) Hotel is a 20 minutes walk to the central area, so you have good chance to sleep. Will be back soon.

Die Bungalows sind recht nett und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Für den Zimmerpreis könnte man mehr erwarten.( Safe im Zimmer Wasserkocher) die Lage ist zentral aber ruhig. Essen war sehr gut.

Eine der letzten typischen und nicht total überbauten Anlagen am Chaweng Beach. Sehr nett für Thailandkenner, andere werden etwas zu meckern finden. Die sollten besser in die Betonburgen, die vom Chaweng Beach nicht mehr viel übrig gelassen haben (Strand wird total überbaut) gehen. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Once again returned to Seascape only to find many more returning holiday makers from australia,Ukraine and Ireland. Friendly staff who could not do more to make it again a pleasent stay. Nous avions un bungalow (3 em année a cet hôtel) Points positifs: Le personnel est plutôt sympa Hôtel sur la plage. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Points négatifs: Climatisation très vieille et bruyante. Chambre rustique pour le prix (80 euros) Sur la plage la grande majorité des transats sont casses. Plus de transats a partir de 5h PM car le personnel installe un restaurant a la place Pas assez de place sur la plage, il faut soit se lever tôt soit avoir les faveurs du plagiste ( l hôtel a une nouvelle aile avec 30 nouvelles chambres, ce qui explique le problème de place) Pour les parasols certains jours il faut les réclamer pour les avoir Enfin rares sont dans le personnel ceux qui maitrisent l anglais En résume il est surement possible d avoir mieux pour le même prix. Вполне приятный отельчик для непафосного отдыха. Комнатки в самых дешёвых бунгало крошечные, но санузел и платяной шкаф - большие. Кондиционер и холодильник работают. Телевизор есть с 40-ка каналами, но ни одного русского. Убирают каждый день: меняют полотенца, пополняют мыло и шампунь, кладут 2 поллитровых бутылки воды. Расположен отель на южном конце пляжа пляжа Чавенг. Одним концом выходит на море - на собственный пляжик, а ресепшеном - на центральную улицу со множеством магазинчиков и тд. Территория зелёная, но состоит, по-сути, из тропинки к морю. Тут же - у моря - свой ресторан, где дают завтраки и можно вполне недорого кормиться хоть весь день и ночь. Я, собственно, выбрал этот отель только из-за заявленного им виндсёрфинга, но он находится в середине пляжа Чавенг - это около километра от отеля. Стоимость экскурсий в отельном бюро даже ниже, чем на улице у других. Вобщем, соотношение цена - качество отдыха вполне адекватное. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

over all: ok. the room was ok but it was not really clean. in the bathroom was schimmel , sorry i dont know the english word. i lso booked a better room because the standard room wasnt free, but I think it wasnt the better one. swimmingpool tiny. very friendly people at the pool service. beach is really tiny and the hotel is far away from center, you have to take taxi. but i ws travelling alone, so ok. breakfast from 7 to 10 is a choke in chaweng weher you go to sleep at 4... better no breakfast, I only had one of 4... and they really close the buffet at 10. BUT: it is quiet and the beach is god for non swimmers and children. very good food at the restaurant. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable apart from the actual room itself. I booked this hotel as I wanted a bungalow. When I arrived I was told there were non available even though over the days I stayed there (3 in total) it was low season and not all bungalows were in use. We were given a hotel room which was clean, basic and looked fine but we had a leak in the bathroom which made the floor wet and made the wall damp. This wasnt a problem but we paid £90 for 3 nights and I could have got a better room for the price. However the location of the hotel was great, quieter end of the beach which was nice for the day and easy access to walk up to the more lively part of the beach either on the road at the front of the hotel or on the beach itself. The pool area was nice, the restaurant and food were very good and the staff were very friendly. The massages on the beach directly outside the hotel were very good too. A recommended stay but make sure your booking is confirmed so you get what you paid for.

It wasnt clear that the prices were per night following my search. I thought the amount was for the total trip. Had I realised it was per night I would not have stayed at the hotel as I didnt think it was worth the price I paid.

Very clean and nice hotell. Better than we expected. The staff was wery helpful. Best location on the beach. We recommend this hotell to our friends and families whit children. A wery speciell thanks to the travell agent in the lobby and the Beachboys!!

Our first impression was not so good therefor the cottage were very small, not efficient AC and bad smell in bathroom. Not fresh at all.But we were very pleased with the upgrading to the room at first floor in the building. Looked like brand new.Only petty to have the AC directed to bed and not so much place to put all the things. The closet is big but only a few hangers. Pool small and full of children but the beach is big:-) Very nice staff with an relaxed attitude. It´s in the calm south part of beach.Good prices in restaurant were we had our lunches but we like to explore the surroundings at evening so there is some cheap restaurants just outside the hotel at main street, Rose & Crown, that became our favourite.A calm and quite place to stay and relax. Nice hotel with both ordinary hotelrooms and bungalows. We styed in two different bungolws which both were very nice. The only thing was a bad smell in the bathrooms (probably depending on the fact that they have not used waterlocks on bathtub and basin) The hotel is straight on Chaweng beach and have nice beachstaff that helps you with sunbeds and towels. It´s a bit south of central chaweng so it´s a quiet area. Not as many restaurants as in the north, but that is just a tuktuk-ride of 10 minuts away. Hotel restaurant is very good and so is the breakfast. Well kept garden and trees. Not the feeling of dark djungle wich can happen in this kind of hotel. The fact that the hotel charge 3% when paying with creditcard for two weeks stay is nothing but rediculos. However this is at hotel I can recomend and wouldn´t hesitate to do so to friends. Nice place at the south end of Chaweng Beach. Much more quiet than at the north side. Nice and clean rooms and a good breakfast buffe´. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow but were given wrong room the first night. Was only compensate with a free transportation to the ferry. But overall a good place to stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We stay two nights in there very nice place but water is not clean enought. We stay beachfront room that very near beach but too near buddha home that made some bad view for us. 2nd visit to this resort, stayed in the hotel this time. Big room and very clean. The pool and beach are beautiful, excellent service with pleasant staff who are always helpful. We had two meals on the beach, the BBQ one was wonderful. Only disappointing part was the building site going on at the moment until Xmas 09. They are building a new hotel block which is working from 8.00 am to 8.00pm 7 days per week. The noise wasn t that bad, as the main construction has been done, but it is conjested with deliveries, and dusty due to the work going on. In a few weeks they should be working inside which will help. As a result several standard bungalows have been removed, but good news is the new rooms will be 1800 baht per night. The resort is at the best end of the beach, quiet during the day and night and near enough to the night life to either walk along the strip or get a baht cab. These have gone up this year to 50bt from 20bt last year. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We (two adults) stayed at Seascape Beach Resort (hotel) for nine days at the beginning of February, 2009. We booked the hotel via internet Sawadee.com. We had booked the hotelroom with sea view (one alternative room type at the internet booking. But the first room we got had no sea view. We wanted to change the room and got an other with a very tiny view to the sea...The hotelrooms are situated 50 meter from the sea, but the bungalows and trees hide the wiew to the sea. The pluses: the hotel, the bungalows, the restaurant/bar near the sea. As well a lot of shopping, restaurant and spa/massage services near the hotel. Good connections (5 minutes by taxi) to the centre of Chaweng. The sea was clean at the front of the hotel. The personnel of the restaurant/bar/pool was friendly(specially the young ones, who are very hard-working). The cleanliness of the hotel room was OK. A lot of plants and flowers at the hotel area. The balcony was a nice thing. The minuses: in the bathroom there was not warm water and often the strange smell. The swimming pool is too small for all the hotelquests. During our stay of nine days we could swim at the sea three times as there were so high waves and the swimming was not recommended. The breakfast was satisfactory. The hotelroom&bathroom was big and tidy, but not very cosy; in my opinion a little bit shabby. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I was in superior room. View was on the park in front of hotel. Room was quite big, average bathroom with a little strange smell. Bed was too hard for me. Restaurant is ok, breakfast ok but not so many things to choose. About reception ladies I didnt have many contacts, there were not so smily but ok cause I didnt need them much. Near reception is also some lady that offers trips. She was very nice and help us also to organize massage in some spa center and arrange everything for pickup. Beach near resort is nice, there are sunbeds. If you want to go to city centre you will have to walk a little but anyway not so much. But if you are too lazy then you can take some other transport (taxi, tuk-tuk, ...) to come there.

this place is awesome, if you book and stay in a sea or ocean view bungalow, i do not suggest the hotel area, its not as nice as the bungalows and is the same price.. great beach just outside your bungalow, great pool, friendly staff!!! We stayed at Seascape for two weeks in septemer and we were very satisfied with almost everything. In total we were five people, Me, my wife and our three daughters (3, 4 and 7 years old). We stayed in the Beachfront Bungalow and it didn´t feel crowded at all, even if we had two extra beds. Our stay was really nice and all the staff was really friendly and they relly love kids. The breakfast served different cold and hot dishes, but you got tired of it after a while. The restaurant served lots of different food and some nights also served food right on the beach. The location suited us perfectly. It is located on the end of Chaweng Beach and not as hectic as it is more up north. The only dissapointment was the wireless internet access that they had problems with, and just got it to work when we had four days left our stay. They had given me the wrong password. :) All in all, if you are travelling with kids this should suite you just fine, close to th beach, a small pool for the kids (for adults aswell :)). We booked 3 nights at Seascape and had a quiet comfortable Standard Bungalow which was suitable for 2 people, reasonably clean and housekeeping did a good job keeping it tidy and changing towels, toilet paper etc. The water that filled the toilet and came out of the sink and shower was a little yellow though so we had showers at my parents resort further up the beach (which was well out of our price range)!! We were happy for the price we paid for it and the staff were all very helpful. We booked an elephant trek and a 2 day dive trip through the tours desk at reception which was convenient and they also gave us discounts. Our complementary breakfast was ok - a good variety of hot and cold foods although none of it was covered so there were a few flies on some things. We hired motorbikes for 150BHT per day and they also provided helmets which was reassuring as the roads can get a little hectic and arent in the best condition in some areas. The hotel is located on a nice quiet area at the southern end of Chaweng Beach and we had perfect weather so the beach was warm, calm and clear and deck chairs and beach towels are provided for all guests. There is also a pool at the hotel although it is a little small and on the second day we noticed there were lots of floaties in it. Like most resorts on Chaweng, they have massage tables on the beach although these cannot be charged to the room. We didnt eat at the restaurant (except for breakfast) although we had a couple of cocktails from the bar which to be honest werent the nicest ones Ive had. The location of the hotel has several restaurants on the street outside the hotel and all of them offer western and local foods. There are tailor shops and other small boutiques although for a wider range of shopping it would pay to head further up the strip which is a bit of a walk but probably easier to hire a motobike or grab a taxi. Overall I would recommend Seascape if you are after an economical, quiet and relaxing stay on Chaweng with the convenience of all the shopping nearby. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

On arrival we were devastated to see that the bungalow was not to the standard that was advertised to us, I was not happy when I arrived, as the bungalow appeared to be unsafe for two young girls traveling alone, I would not recommend it, also it was way too small to be sharing with a friend, it would be better for someone backpacking and not staying for 2 weeks like we were. The pool that was advertised was more like a paddle pool and way too small but we were lucky to be on the beachfront and so we used this service instead. The restaurant was very expensive considering we were in Thailand so we walked outside to a little place which was called a bakery but they served everything, a sandwich was only 80-100 baht but in the restaurant in the hotel it was 200 baht for the same thing but it was a lot nicer in the bakery. We had to argue with the reception when we arrived as they were not willing to accommodate us when we tried to explain what we had actually booked. The cleaners in the hotel were very trusting, as there were many occasions where money was left in the room by mistake on my part and it was never touched. If your thinking of bringing your laptop I wouldn t bother, as the internet was very expensive to use from your room but they have internet services in the reception which was ok. Other than that, I sound as if I had a terrible time but I didn t, they promised to change us to another room the morning after I arrived and they kept to their word and reduced the price of the other room to help us be happy and enjoy our stay which I did, I would stay there again as I know what to book and what not to book. Seascape Beach Resort is in an excellent location on the beach at the southern end of Chaweng Beach.We had booked the lowest price acommodation and were offered a small bungalow close to the resort entrance.We declined the offer and negotiated an upgrade,to one of the spacious, and much more expensive, bungalows overlooking the pool.It was worth every penny and we had a great 17 days holiday.The staff and service were excellent,a wide choice of dishes was available for breakfast and the resort food was very good.Situated on the same stretch of beach as Poppies resort, where one night cost £200, we thought Seascape was much better value and would thoroughly recommend it.

These beach bungalows are lovelly, with clean bedding, towels, and good cleaning each day. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is ideally located at the quieter end of Cheweng Beach, which means you can get a Baht cab to the more noiser end for 20 baht each. The breakfasts were very nice, with fruit, bacon, eggs, pancakes, and good coffee. The restraunt food is local and authentic and not over priced for a hotel beach setting. The pool although small is clean and very refreshing. The bungalows open out on to the beach and tables are set out for BBQ s if the weather is dry. We had a lovelly meal there, a little more expensive, but the staff, food and service was well worth it. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Sawadeeka...We booked the single bangalow thru the internet for 4 days. I also requested for airport pick-up(THB400 each way). Upon arrival at airport the pick-up was there waiting for us as expected. The ride to the hotel is about 15 mins only thru some small villages. At the hotel, Check in was no problem. Takes about 10 mins. we were given room 402 which was right across the reception. I immediately declined this room as it will be busy & noisy being directly across the reception & quite close to the main road. Akwa hotel is directly across this road & playing loud music which can be heard from my room. I returned back to the reception to have my room changed. They told me that there was no more room. When I was persistent, they however had another room for us. They gave us room 410 which was about 50 meters away. Closer to the coffee house & beach front. The people at the reception was not as friendly as expected. They find that it is difficult to smile at you as you have taken up their TV time! There is a TV next to them that they were watching all the time. The room is a little run down. The aircond controller wasn t working. The technician came in 2 mins when called but he can t fix it as it was already around 9pm. He said that he would fix it the next day but never turned up at all. So we were stuck with an aircond where we can t control the temp at all. Then, there was the problem with the water pressure in the shower. It was so low that it was so difficult to shower. We complained the next morning. The technician came to have a look but couldn t fix it. So now we were again stuck with a low water pressure in the shower thru out our stay. Then, there was this rattling noise behind our room which prevented me from a good night sleep. It was from a water pump for the swimming pool or something I guess. This they managed to fix the next day. The room actually requires new paint & decor. Same goes to to toilet. There was also some problem with the mosquitoes. Everytime we entered the room there were mosquitoes . We fumigated the room the 1st night but the mosquitoes were always there everyday. We have no idea where they were coming in from.... maybe from the toilet drainage system. The people at the reception were not very friendly when you complain of anything. Same goes to the tour desk lady when you want to book for a car or something. Breakfast was the same every morning... toast, eggs, bacon, coffee, tea, fruits ..... On the 3 night, the aircond was giving us some problem. It was shuting on and off by itself. We asked for a table fan. They gave us one but this fan also has some problem. It was stuck to only 1 speed. At high & we can t control it. There was also some kind of smell coming into the room so we had to buy an air freshner for the room. As our flight was delayed we were charged another THB500 for extra 5hrs stay which was resonable. However the only consolation was when we checkout we were not charged the 3% for using credit card for payment. This was due to the problem we had with the aircond. However, the entire stay was OK. Most staff were friendly. The single bangalow room is a bargain for only THB 1500 a night if you only stay in the night & busy out the rest of the day. The pool is OK & beach front is also OK. You can get a good place on the beach to relax or swim. But the pool will close around midnight. The deluxe bangalow was seen as better so is the hotel rooms but cost 2 times more. Overall it was an OK hotel as location on beach was good & you have plenty of amenities around the hotel. Food, Convenience stores, Car/Bike rentals & shops. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Negative, very negative, using Russian word DERMO . We stayed in Seascape Beach Resort 4 years ago, changes: 1) Bungalows are dirty, nor repaired. 2) Staff is unfriendly, not polite. 3) Linen became yellow (from white). Not recommended.

Seascape is one of the cheaper beachfront properties on chaweng, and as long as you choose your room wisely it s a good choice - though don t expect it to be anything like Poppies next door! We initally booked a standard bungalow but on arrival took one look at it, a small dark unappealing room, and immediately upgraded to a garden view room. I m really glad we did, as the rooms are very pleasant with a huge double bed and decent bathroom. Only thing was that the garden view rooms are on the ground floor and people walk right past your window so you need to keep the curtains closed. The place is right on a particularly nice stretch of the beach - it s much quieter than further north, and the sea seems clearer. We had a very pleasant time here. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Spent a lot of time searching for the right place to stay while in Koh Samui. Had a wonderful 3 nights at Seascape. Right on the beach, had a twin bungalow situated just steps from the front reception & the beach. Breakfast was really nice-included in price. Had a great garlic pizza for dinner one night. Laundry service right next door. Booked a day tour for us too...very helpful & nice staff. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Thanks for a great stay, it is the second time my friend and i have stayed there. Staff in both the Hotel and Restaurant are very friendly and helpful. down the beach from the busy section so thought it would be a bit quieter but bungalow near road, heard constant noise and they seem to have a car park in the grounds of the hotel so can hear everybody coming in on the mopeds at all hours. Travel agent at hotel very helpful. Food OK, but better options are available. Otherwise OK, nothing to right home about though. Feel like the place could try a lot harder. Had advertised Tue, Thurs night band - but no band. Staff sitting around a lot doing nothing.

The hotel was in a nice location. It was clean and well taken care of. The rooms were big, but the bed was so hard i could have slept on the floor with the same results. There was also some odor from the bathroom that i could not explain. complained to hotel about it with no results. The restaurant and bar which were right near the beach were nice, the service sucked. Don t get the breakfast that was added to the bill, not worth getting up for. I will probably not stay there next time I m in Samui. There are alot of resorts there. I didn t get what I expected for the money I spent to stay there. Stay there if all the other resorts are full. Very good value for money. We stayed 5 nights in one of the family bungalows up in the garden. The bungalow was very nice and clean, the only thing was that the beds where very hard. It could have been more sun chairs, almost all of them where booked already at 09:00 am in the morning. Lovely beach and good resturant, Ok breakfast. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very disappointed that the restaurant was closed (emergency construction) Was not told this on arrival but told be note in room. No discount or anything to make up for the lack of restaurant. Absolutely nothing to do in hotel after dark (pool area had no light, bar) Okay, but small pool (didn’t look that small on picture) Very bad breakfast at the Lord Nelson (the emergency restaurant in the street) Staff was okay, but very poor English speaking. It was very old and did not feel very clean (we saw roaches around). The towels felt old and dirty as well. We had initially booked a standalone villa, but we weren t happy with it, so we switched to one of the hotel rooms. It wasn t that much better, but seemed a bit bigger. We were used to friendly Thai people, but the staff at this hotel were very unfriendly and not very helpful. Everytime we made any requests, we got attitude. The breakfast buffet was mediocre and there wasn t much to choose from besides cereal or last night s leftovers. We actually considered checking out and booking at another cleaner hotel, but since we were only there for two nights, we decided to just deal with it. However, we would not book here again and do not recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seascape. The hotel staff are really friendly and the breakfast was great (say hi to B and Pa for us). Great location as its the quiet end of the beach and there is no reef (unlike the northern end). Only a 10-15 minute to the main action or 50 baht in a taxi bus. Great cocktails (cheap between 5-7PM) or go across to AKWA and say hi to Tim, Lee, and Lisa. Definitely worth the extra money to book the beachfront bungalow....already saving up for next holiday here

Value for money. Family bungalow was a more common than expected, oceanview from terrace was only a flash through the bush.Family room on the 3rd floor, had a slight view of the sea. The room was perfect for a family. Bungalow close to the pool and the beach which was perfectly situated for our friends with a small child. Breakfast buffet gets old after a couple of days - maybe a little variation. There is an on-site tour booking service to help with any tours you might want to take. And it s a good price if you want to save your money for other things. This hotel is on the best part of the beach and is away from the hussle and bustle of chaweng but still easily accessible. Stayed in a bungalow close to the pool and the beach which was perfectly situated for us.Average standard in the bungalow with a shower without almost any pressure at all.Too bad the beachchairs were taken away from the beach too early in the afternoon due to setting up tables and chairs for evening dinner.Good food in the restaurant.Friendlier staff would be adviced.

I booked into the family room on the 3rd floor. Had a slight view of the sea. The room was fantastic!! Very clean and spacious. My kids enjoyed the evenings at the pool after snorkelling. The breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and even went to the extend of getting breakfast for us half an hour earlier as our tour was too early in the morning. The beach was nice and location of the hotel was ok but towards the end of chaweng, as the mid section of chaweng is more happening I had to walk quite a distance.. but overall the hotel is just as we wanted except that I expected it to be towards the middle of chaweng and not towards the end. Very good for families though. I booked my tours from the hotel itself after checking a few of the pricings for the snorkeling tours outside. I was surprised that the hotel rates were actually abt 200baht cheaper then the tours agents outside. I have a family of 5 with me and 200baht made quite a bit of difference to my pocket. At first, I didn t think the pictures of the website matched the actual place, but when the weather turn nicer, they were one and the same. The place is right on the beach (a nice beach too). The rooms are basic, but who needs more when you have the beach right there to enjoy? The breakfast that comes with the room is really good- both western and Thai style. it is at the end of chaweng beach, so there is quite a hike to the middle of it in the evening. But you can also rent a scooter. Hotel is very nice (we had the beach bungalow) and it was great. Great location walking distance to main stretch of chaweng...beautiful beach frount views....we stayed in the Delux pool view bungalows...nice,clean,simple rooms. small pool but clean a bit too warm though temp of pool could have been cooler. Maids who cleaned the rooms were loverly- the nicest people at the resort were those ladies. Reception not so friendly a bit stand off ish. Restaurant cheap and breakfast nice...Will stay again as resonably priced for what you get. Great Bungalows.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and it held what it promised. The rooms was very large and we stayed 2 adults and 3 children in a room withot it getting to small.Our only complaine was about the pool but they closed it down after several small accident and started reparation. Strongly not recommend the standard bungalow, quite old first, small space for luggage. Esp., I don t like the bathroom, not clean and low water pressure, even cannot enjoy a shower on my 1st night there. A very nice place, a small pool right next to the beach. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow which was very charming and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. The only problem we experienced was when our two-year old son got an electric by one of the lamps on the beach at the restaurant. Even though it hit him really hard, the staff didn t take them away, instead the same thing happened to one of the waiters later the same evening. Not very safe at all. Otherwise, I can really recommend this place.

Clean rooms, friendly staff - nice place to rest. Muslim and Jewish tourists may have some difficulties at breakfast time due to presented dishes. Be careful with tour packages offered at hotel - specify all terms and conditions, otherwise you may end up with uncompleted services i.e. instead 30 minutes elephant trekking you get 10 minutes(money paid for 30) etc. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very nice,friendly atmosphere. The standard was good and the area was quiet, yet very close to shopping ,bars and restaurants. We would absolutely recomend Seascape to others, and we know where to stay next time we ll go to Koh Samui.

WE LOVED IT HERE!!! the people were so friendly.. 5 mins walk to the shopping district and 2 mins walk to the beach. WE MISS EVERYONE THERE SO MUCH AND IF WE WERE TO COME BACK WE LL STAY THERE AGAIN!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I was surprised by how big the room was. I stayed by myself, so it was huge for me. I think even a couple with 1-2 kids could stay here comfortably. I thought breakfast was tasty with lots of choices. Didn t eat any other meals at the hotel restaurant, and it generally looked quiet in the evenings. Most of the staff were friendly and communicated well. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Remember, you re not in a native-English speaking country, so don t expect fluency. I asked lots of questions and I had no serious problems. If you smile and say please & thank you , then you ll always find people kind and helpful (this applies everywhere I went in Thailand...). If you want people to kiss your butt, stay at a 5-star hotel and pay the price! The property is well kept and the beach is beautiful. There are a lot of vendors on the beach, but that s not the hotel s fault. Just wear your sunglasses and iPod earphones and they ll ignore you! haha Chaweng Beach can be kind of a crazy place with a lot of parties and nightlife - this can be good or bad depending on what kind of traveller you are. This hotel is located near the end of the shopping & nightlife zone, so that s all easily accessible. But the hotel is not in the middle of all that, so if you prefer quiet you ve got it. Some earlier reviews hinted that this hotel was a kind of party place, but during my stay (at peak season) it was mostly families and a few couples. So, pretty laid back. Downsides? A few, but not too serious. I stayed in a garden view room, close to the lobby. There were a lot of people coming and going, and the whole front of my room was window with sliding glass doors and big curtains which didn t quite cover the windows. So, I didn t feel that I had much privacy. No problem for me, but if you re going for a romantic getaway consider this - not exactly discreet. The pool is small, but kids seemed to enjoy it. I used the big pool just across the beach (the sea!), which was beautiful for swimming and playing in the waves. The floor drain in my bathroom wasn t placed correctly, so water tended to pool on the bathroom floor and get tracked into the room. I quickly learned to place a towel on the floor just outside the bathroom. Problem solved. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and thought this place was a good value.
