Our second stay at this Resort. The service and the staff is still perfect, breakfast ist great, location is great. Only the room (we had a standard room) is a bit small, and so is the bed. I reached to the hotel with 2 children and ordered two rooms I asked for connection door room but got regulars rooms without connection door. when I asked to replace the room the team over there did not try to help and told me the agent did not order connection room , they did not try even to seek for available room. Vi trivdes riktigt bra på hotellet! Vänlig och tillmötesgående personal. Vi bodde i Villa D precis vid poolen och var jättenöjda med både bungalown och läget. Sängarna var något hårda. Poolen och restaurangen var bra! På stranden, som var lite grovkornig, var det höga vågor. Kul för våra äldre barn men vår lilla ville inte bada på stranden. Mycket god service från all personal på hotellet! Vi är mycket nöjda och kommer gärna tillbaka!

Nous avons été déçu de la prestation de l hôtel et surtout de la qualité des chambres. La literie était mauvaise, la salle de bain mérite d être refaite entièrement (robinetterie hors service, chasse d eau bouchée, sèche cheveux avec un fil de 15 cm...). Les serviettes sont trouées et fines... Ce n est absolument pas digne d un hôtel soit disant de luxe . Le ménage n est pas fait tous les jours, la piscine n est pas nettoyée... Bref, on a été déçu des prestations de cet hôtel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Authorities schoud take care about pollution. After every rainy day there was a lot of trash wasched to the beach. we didn t feel comfortable to go swimming then.

We spent 2 weeks in Thai House beach resort and we had a Villa just by the pool/beach with our family (2 children of 7 and 10 years old) We are very pleased with our visit. Great service and nice staff. If we go back to Lamai we will for sure stay here again!

Rooms where clean and spacy. We stayed in familyroom at 3 floor and had ok wiew, but those who stayed in 1 and 2 floor had no wiew exept jungel and neighbourhouse wall. Restaurant need to come up some levels. Ok Food but cleaning glasses in dirty water With fingers is not what you expect in 2014. Swimmingpool-area is much smaller than it looked like, but beach was calm and clean this time at the year. All in all we had a good stay with our 3 children. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This hotel is one of the best in Lamai and has a really convincing price value relation. The guests are international. Service is excellent. We had one of the beachfront villas and were very satsfied. Food in the restaurant is excellent, having dinner in the sand on the beach was awesome. Two downsides: water quality of the sea was very poor, it seemed sometimes even dirty. The entire beach of Lamai is full of waste, empty plastic bottles and not what you expect from paradise. Very friendly staff and great service. Big and clean rooms. Perfect breakfast with lots of choices, food changes every day! The pool area is a bit small but nice and clean. The location is also good, its not far to the center and the area is still quiet. The beach area always kept clean by the hotel stuff. Sometimes the beds at the beach and at the pool could be some more, coz some people put their towels in the mornging and never seen again all day... Some disturbances from the jetski rentals next to the hotel, but almost not worth mentioning (but be careful if you rent a jetski - we have seen many problems for customers at return!) Over all, a perfect small resort I would recommend to all friends. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very lovely hotel.nice and quiet . The villa that we stayed in was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent, very nice selection of foods. All of the hotel s personals were extremely nice and helpful including the driver who took us to the airport.The beach is awesome. Everything looks exactly picture perfect just like on the website. Great hotel. Due to some error while booking, Double Suite was booked for me and my friend instead of Twin Suite. All Twin Suites were booked out but stuff were very kind and suggested us to upgrade room to Family Suite for 1 night and then move to Twin. Booked a deluxe room for 5 nights..Called at the hotel 2 days prior to check booking and they told me I had been upgraded to a Villa.Wow what a surprise. Arrived at the hotel to find out our booking was now a family room ..Wanted to see a deluxe room which we had booked but none were available. clearly they had sold that room on the basis we would accept the upgrade. We were shown the deluxe room the next day but decided to stay in the family as it was a little bigger.Room was rather plain but clean (except for mould in the bathroom) . We had a fab stay here! The service at the resort was excellent and it was so nice to be greeted with a smile where ever we went. The staff were fantastic with the kids too. Location of the resort is great as it is a minute walk to the main restaurants and shops but far enough from the girly bars that it wasn t right in your face if you didn t want it to be. This end of the beach I found was brilliant. The further South you go the more ferrall the accommodation becomes. We had a villa and it was a really good size for a family of four. We had a cot and one child on bedding on the floor and there was still plenty of room. We were set back from the pool so it was nice to have the privacy. Our parents stayed in a villa above us so it was perfect because the children could walk between us easily. The pool area was fantastic and there are a couple of shallower pools which were great for the 4 year old plus age group. Lovely restaurant and great food, we found the prices fairly comparable to restaurants on the main road so it was an easy option to stay in and eat! (For a change you can go for a wander down the beach and eat at the other restaurants that set up on the sand). The only negative to our stay was the amount of rubbish that floated in from the sea and onto the beach! (This was a problem 20 years ago and looks like it still hasn t been fixed!). It was good to see the resort staff cleaning up the beach in the morning and afternoons but it would have been good to see it happen more often during the day as it is not pleasant to sit in the middle of old plastic bottles and cigarette butts. On a positive this end of the beach is much cleaner than the Southern End. On the whole we had a fabulous holiday! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Excellent hotel, very good breakfast, fantastic staff. The poolarea is very nice and the restaurant beautifully located. We have during the last 10 years stayed in around 20 hotels in different parts of the world, and this hotel comes in as second best only beaten by a luxury resort in the Maldives! Me and my family stayed in villa C and D, especially villa D is perfectly located. We travelled together with other families, alltogether we were a group of 13 persons. Everyone were pleased with their rooms, but I can really recommend the front row villas.

This is our second time at Thai House and we couldn t be more pleased! The location is right on a beautiful beach, the rooms are clean and the staff is fantastic! The breakfast buffet is good. Afternoons are spent by the lovely pool, followed by a Thai massage while listening to the ocean waves. The beach is ideal for a daily stroll. Great Happy Hour too! The attentive and friendly staff really make this hotel shine.

direkt am beach gelegenes hotel im thai stil. genügend sonnenbetten vorhanden, welche wie immer schon beimfrühstück reserviert wurden.schöner pool und meer direkt vor dem hotel. das beste war das frückstück, besonders thai menüs waren jeden tag andere zur auswahl.natürlich auch dunkles brot, toast, eierspeisen usw.russische, deutsche, franzosen und schweizer, auch familien mit kindern waren anzutreffen. würd jederzeit wieder dieses hotel wählen. Das Hotel bietet guten Service und eine tolle Lage an einem schönen Strandabschnitt. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und gut. Der Service war außerordentlich gut. Im übrigen haben wir meist (sehr gut)außerhalb gegessen, da uns das Preisniveau im Hotel zu teuer war. Liegen und Handtuchservice war prima. die Zimmmer ausreichend groß und mit schönem Balkon. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung, obwohl der Preis in Anbetracht der sonstigen - auch guten Übernachtsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe - doch ziemlich hoch ist.

The hotel is beautiful and has its great location right in the center of Lamai. However, the hotel stuff is very picky about everthing and they charge you if you have some dirt in the towel or something like that. The hotel maintenance is not the best I ve seen and it needs some renovation and more attention to the clean issue.

We rate this generously as a 3 star resort. The worst reception on arrival ever experienced, totally unfriendly and unwelcoming. The European food was almost unedible. Could not use pool as only access was by step ladder, no walk in steps. F & B also beach service was non existent, with obvious no training and lack of confidence by staff. Definetly a family resort, not for couples/ honeymooners/ or elderly. The beach front villas B was excellent. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The Hotel was nice, and bungalow great as well. Poolarea great, beach great. My only minus, was some mosquitoes at evenings, in garden. But, overall, great. Food: Breakfast was what OK for me. Evening was also great, with a varied menu, both barbecue and normal

When we arrived to the hotel they told us that they had dubblebooked us and that they had no room for us the first night. Instead they had booked us to a hotel nearby för the first night, Weekender Hotel.We had booked a big familyroom though we were 3 adults and 1 child but at the other hotel we got two small rooms far away from eachother. We were told that they should pick us up next day at 12 O´clock but they didn´t show up until almost 1 O´clock. as a compansation for our lost first night we got a free thaidinner,free thaimassage and free transportation to our next hotel.We had booked a Deluxe Family Bungalow near the beach but we got a room on second floor as far away from the beach as you could get,and with a roof view with a lot of A/C aggregates right outside our balcony making a lot of noice. Although the room was spacy and clean.The hotel had also promised to decorate our room with flowers and fruit though my wife and I celebrate our 30 years honeymoon but nothing was arranged at all. The pool was small and occupied the whole day by small children screaming so it was nicer to take a sunbed at the beach. But you had to go up early to get a sunbed because other guests occupied them with there towels early in the morning. Sometimes the hotelstaff took away towels when noone had used the sunbed for several hours so that was good. Breakfast was good with many choises, and lots of different bread to choose. We think that this hotel is for familys with young children,if you want more peace and quiet we suggesst you choose another hotel! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We were very disappointed. The photos and descriptions of this hotel were very misleading. It was much smaller than we expected in every way. We changed rooms since the first room was too tiny for the 4 of us and looked out over a leaking water tank. The second room was a bit bigger with a slightly better view, but it was not clean and had very thin walls so we were woken 5 times in the night by party goers from Lamai returning. It also had dreadful bathroom facilities. We checked out 8 days early and will NOT be returning to Thai House Beach Resort.

Really enjoyed our time at The Thai House Beach Resort. The rooms were tastefully furnished,hotel in a great location, but the best assest the hotel has to offer is its staff. They would have to be the nicest I think we have encountered over our holidaying years! They could not do enough for us and nothing was a problem for them. Would definitely recommend & would most definitely stay there again [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The beach is beautiful but the water is not clear. The sand is fine but not like powder. The garden and pool of the hotel is very beautiful. We stayed in the main building which looks like a triangle. In the middle is a small garden. The rooms in the main building are ok, but too expensive for what you get. Пока всё нравится ))) Встретили прохладными влажными полотенцами, приветственными коктейлями, улыбками. Кисычам досталась Бич фронт вила А. Она сразу за массажным салоном стоит. Мы её и просили заранее, в принципе. Мы бронировали Тай виллу. Досталась вилла J. Она через 2 от Кисок. Не очень удобно, т.к. радио-няня не покрывает такое расстояние (домики же стоят). Проверили – всё ж покрывает. УРА! Ночами можно на верандах друг у друга тусить. Нам всё нравится. Перед домиком небольшая клумба. Веранда симпатиШная. Сам номер маловат, канешн. Но уютный. В ванной сама ванна и душ, который какбЭ под открытым небом находится (а на самом деле там стекло). Есть халаты, тапочки. Мальчишкам кроватки поставили (заранее уже стояли) Завтрак очень понравился. Я, правда, пробежалась на скорую руку, но омлет свой любимый (именно тайский омлет люблю) и хороший кофе заценила [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Absolutely loved our Villa (absolute beachfont (Villa A) beautiful beach & plenty of great restaraunts beachfront & walking distance amongst the shopping/night markets.The only suggestion I would have is that the resort restaurant have a little more variety especially if you have a long stay! prices very affordable within the resort though.

The resort is placed directly on the beautiful Lamai Beach. The Thai House Villa (we had number M and N, which were at the backside) was very nicely equipped, king size bed was comfortable, air condition worked, hot water, good service. we always got sunchairs on the beach. unfortunately the weather was not as nice as expected (lots of rain and wind), and we could only go swim in the sea one time. one thing i would recommend to the ressort and genereal to more ressorts in thailand: put red flags on the beach if people should not go into the sea (due to undercurrents or big waves) or have the ressort equipped with a rescue ring, just in case somebody is in problems. the people on their holidays tend to ignore bad weather and go swimming, and not everybody might be strong enough to survive that. that s not especially a problem of thai house resort, but this is just a suggestion where it could improve its service. everything else was absolutely stunning! This is a great little resort, with polite staff and excellent facilities. The service was good although a little slow ( typically Thai!). The breakfast was excellent, pool area and gardens beautiful, and to my wife s delight, the shopping area out the back door. Ein kleines aber feines Hotel welches wir jetzt schon das 2. gebucht hatten. Wir hatten eine neu renovierte Gartenvilla bekommen und waren begeistert.Im gegensatz zum letzten Jahr wurde das kompl. Bad incl.Dusche kompl. neu gestaltet. Im Zimmer selber alles neue Möbel. Personal sehr freuntlich. We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Thai House Beach Resort where we had booked one of the beach front villas. This is a lovely and extremely well looked-after resort situated in central Lamai; however, it is a little removed from the main street. This means that you can have peace and quiet when you want it but are only a few steps away from all the shops and restaurants. From the very first moment of arrival one experiences the true Thai friendliness and hospitality. The service is outstanding and the staff make every effort to meet even unusual requests. The General Manager, Ms Somruethai Chaiyo, makes her rounds on the premises several times every day and approaches every guest personally to ensure that they have everything they need. Staff are equipped with walkie-talkies which ensures a very short reaction time for any request. There is a constant cleaning, tidying and maintenance work going on (which, however, is never intrusive) and everything looks neat and tidy all the time. An additional good service are the two computer terminals in the lobby where the guests can access the internet free of charge at any time. The Thai food in the hotel restaurant was delicious (we did not try the Western food) and the breakfast buffet was varied and abundant. We have had many good holidays in Thailand but this was definitely the best and we have every intention of booking the Thai House Beach Resort again very soon. ---------- Lamai seems to consist almost entirely of restaurants, massage shops and tailors who are all competing for your attention. However, if you need a good tailor, don’t bother walking out onto the main street - you can find one right opposite the entrance to the Thai House. They made some stuff for us and it was very good workmanship, excellent quality and really good value for money. In addition, you will not easily find a friendlier salesman - or indeed a happier person - than Eddy. The shop is open from 9:30am till 11:00pm, so step inside and see for yourself. ------ [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

It was our third time at Thai House and it is realy a nice hotel. Rooms was renovated and are very modern now but not so my stil. Opposite our room there was russan people and they was very loud. The resort was very nice. The beach is a little bit less than what you would expect from a thai island beach: sand was not so white and smooth, waves brought in a lot of weed etc. Actually, getting a massage on the beach with the sound of waves in the background was perfect. Pool very small, but right on the beach so it s not so bad. The nearby hotel has a firework show that keeps you from sleeping too early. Selection of food in breakfast is a bit poor, but nothing unusual. Nice place - great service, great location (if you don t like all the mess in Chaweng, Lamai is the place to be). We stayed in Bangkok, Koh Samui, Koh Lanta ... seriously the best hotyel we ve been in.. when we left the crazy streets of Bangkok this was the heaven..quiet, very noble a great place to stay. There was a reconstruction running but only during the day when we were out on the beach or the streets..no big noise( in comparison to bangkok ;) ).. the rooms was always clean and tidy.The service perfekt..all polite and friendly.The pool is a little small but hey you re here to be at the beach !! Sand on the beach and sand in watter..no rocks or whatever..the food just great..we had breakfat only an it was rly perfekt..so many thing to choose from.We used the restaurant i think just once..wasn t expensive and great food.. in the streets are many oportunities to eat for cheap and makes a lot of fun .. the garden or the surounding area of the hotel is beautifull, great flowers and palms of all kind make your stay just luxurious .. would recomend this hotel for all.. if i go to samui again a stay at thai house for sure [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great resort, offering all you need for an excellent vacation. staff is amazing & helpful. pool is a little bit small. The hotel itself is located in a good location, though the street outside of it (Lamai beach main street) is very dull and boring. will go back anytime !! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Abbiamo trascorso 2 notti in questo albergo. Piscina stupenda, la colazione uguale. Il ristorante dell albergo è sulla spiaggia e si mangia bene, l unico difetto è l aria condizionata delle camere troppo rumorosa e mal regolabile.

Very small pool...only for small kids. The entertainmaint mentioned on the website, thaiboxing-lessons, soap-carving-lessons ect. were all canceled. But nice that they offer rooms with space enougt for a family of four.

We stayed in Villa D with our 3 yrs old boy for four days. I think the view is the best among the other villa.just a few steps from our villa to the pool and then the beach. Nice and friendly staff. 5-star standard of their buffet breakfast. Of course, more choices from outside for lunch and dinner. no hot water supply on the third night but fixed in the next morning...and they charged even a broken glasses. So, dun break anything in the room. Overall, the resort is nice but needs some maintainence [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

A nice small resort at Lamai beach. The Thai house villa that we booked was very nice. The beach was only a few meters away.When we come back to Ko Samui we stay there again.

Hotel was clean and very quiet (low season ! ). Fitting for couples without little children due to the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was 50% Thai-style (i.e. warm dishes and a variety of salads), the rest not really varied. Getting a drink in the hotel after 10 pm was not always possible, the restaurant was closed and there is no separate bar. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great location, very friendly and helpful hotel staff - really go out of their way to do everything they can for you. We stayed in a villa which was quite spacious and extremely clean though a little tired. Pool area overlooking the beach is fantastic. Nice hotel,great location on the beach,as beach area is small it felt like people were sitting on top of you,Jasmine hotel next door is more quiet.We stayed in the thai beach villa which was fine,asked to get moved from villa F as it was looking directly into the kitchen,which they were happy to move us.The drains for the open shower drained away very slowly,staff very friendly. The best place in Lamai: best location, best breakfast and service. Small pool area, but it s OK. Do not book snorkelling in Koh Tao if it s cloudy. You cannot see any fish, it s stormy on that side and takes 4 hours by speed boat instead of the promised 1.5. The tour agency did not give any money back.

The hotel itself and also the rooms are very nice. Would definitely recommend to have dinner at the beach - it was delicious! We only stayed 2 nights as we didn t like the Lamai nightlife, but this is purely a matter of taste - the hotel is recommendable in any case.

we were a bit dissapointed.we liked the room but thats all!there was no sea view at the beach front villa c..the swimming pool was very small.there was only one restaurant and very small.i was asking for mojito every night and every night they didnt have fresh mint!i asked for a strawberry margarita and they run out of tequila and told me to put some vodka instead!..i found the staff NOT PROFESSIONAL at all!!and not so polite!i only liked the dinner at the beach.they set tables and you can eat fresh and delicious seafood!And its very romantic.the pavillion hotel next to the thai house is much much better!! On our arrival our room was not ready and they did not have any towels for us to make use of the pool with and the pool was full of unruly children jumping in and not paying too much attention to any other pool users. However this turned out to be a false impression. Our room was comfortable and the staff are fabulous from the reception staff to the beach boys, they are all really helpful and always smiling. The food was some of the best I had eaten during my 4 weeks in Thailand and you must have a cocktail during happy hour. When we left we felt like we were leaving friends. I can also recommend Jack he sells hot sweetcorn on the beach give it a try. If you are going to Lamai stay here. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We were totally satisfied and pleased with our hotel. The breakfast offered a rich variaty of asian food, european dishes, cereals and 3 or 4 different fruits. The rooms ( family deluxe, garden view) were big enough for a longer stay. The aircondition was a bit to loud. We would like to have more furniture to store our belongings. The furniture was thai style, wooden, good looking and in a good shape. The Bathroom was big enough, always kept clean. The balcony headed into a little garden. The swimming pool was nice, we used it very often. The restaurant is divided in a house and open air. Many evenings there were specials like barbeque, all you can eat, seafood served at the beach. Unforgetable the evening with seafood al you can eat lying on the bench, watching the ocean and eluminated baloons. In the afternoon we got a little appetizer for free. The beach was cleaned every day with comfortable benches in a good condition. The best of all was the well trained, motivated and friendly staff. The high level of education in english and the aim to fulfill the guests wish for an perfect holiday is remarkable. We would book there anytime again. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great spot on Lamai Beach. Beach was ok, but a bit better as you went further south along the beach. Thai House was great. Food was excellent and service spot on. Friendly without being over bearing. The only suggestion is that celing fans should be in the rooms and the air con is a bit noisy. Needed ear plugs from the local pharmacy to sleep!! Beautiful hotel located on the Lamai beachfront. Very well maintained, beautiful garden and buildings. We have reserved a Deluxe Family room with Garden View. We were on the 3rd floor thus we have had a pretty good seaview as well. The rooms are large, we had 2 beds (queen and a single). The massage on the beachfront is a must! Very friendly staff, with limited english skills. Breakfast is good, however it is strange that they do not cool the food in the buffet - the cheese and the salami is sweating in the sun :-) I would return to this hotel at any time. On fidays they have a special theme night wich we did not go to, however it looked very good. Try it. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Beach front villas - wery spacious and clean. A little less modern, but typically Thai. Nice size balconies and great location within the resort. Had issue with A/Con however changed our rooms for the night and fixed next day. Service was good and staff friendly. Meals were excellent and reasonable. Lovely setting on the beachfront. Pros: 1.Reception staff who greet you like a friend every time you pass through. 2.Restaurant staff who can t do enough to ensure you are being well looked after in their spotlessly clean (NO FLIES) restaurant. 3.Great breakfast selection daily, which is kept covered, fresh and hot. 3.Evening beach dining by candlelight. (We ve been married nearly 25yrs and even we felt the romance of the setting. 4.Little wicker baskets in the room containing the beach towels and umbrellas in the wardrobe - it s the little things that count! Cons: 1.Our room was clean but basic and the bathroom was a little tired. (But neither were horrible). 2.The balcony faced straight onto a banana tree which blocked ALL further views. 3.The street to the side of the hotel is where the rain water washes onto the beach - bringing all the rubbish from the street with it. Although to be honest it didn t seem to spoil anyone s enjoyment of the beach. 4.When checking out we were charged for items we had already paid for and stuff we hadn t had. But for the sake of just a few 100 baht we didn t let this spoil our view of the hotel and it s staff. Overall: We stayed here a week and then moved to the Aloha, at the other end of Lamai beach, for our second week. Thai House Beach Resort was by far the better hotel of the two. Even though the Aloha had great views from the balcony and far larger and more modern rooms, THB Resort leaves it standing in terms of customer service, cleanliness in the eating areas, the little extras that make your holiday special. I d fully recommend the Thai House Beach Resort. We walked off our breakfast each day by strolling along the beach to the rocks (1 mile?) where there is little bar (THE BLACK PEARL BEACH BAR) where you can sit all day with probably the BEST view on the beach, sipping cool drinks and watching the world go by - who needs a balcony??. Hotel molto carino, unica pecca il numero limitato di sdraio ed ombrelloni(circa 20)finiti i quali sei costretto a stare in piscina o a cambiare spiaggia.Servizio buono, ma alla reception si parla un inglese abbastanza maccheronico.Per le camere almeno per il momento sconsiglio di scegliere la garden view poichè lì accanto sono in corso lavori di ristrutturazione notevolmente rumorosi, che iniziavano puntualmente alle ore 7.00 am. Absolutly great hotel with friendly employee, nice pool, great beach and the beach villas are really superb. Anyway, Lamai is the best spot on Ko Samui

ad hotel: The first room offered was right next to a very active building site. After the first night and early wake up, I went complaining. Hotel management offered us a free upgrade and we were able to stay at a very nice room on the top floor for the rest of the week. The hotel itself is very clean and most of the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good, but mandatory and too expensive. The whole hotel seems a little expensive, but is reliable in terms of safety and cleanliness. After checkout the hotel desk manager accused us of stealing a bath robe, he even ordered his personell to open our suitcases and asked for 2000 TB as compensation. Since we did not take one of the lousy bath robes, this incident caused some unneccessary stress and annoyance at the blame of the hotel. In overall, and also because of this last incident I would definitely not book this place again. ad beach: is nice, but the hotel section seems a bit small. too manny annoying merchants do not leave much room for relaxing at the beach. What a lovely hotel, we went there for our honeymoon and the staff and facilities were absolutely brilliant. It was our first time in Thailand and I would definately go back and I thoroughly recommend the Thai House to everyone. We stayed in a villa and it was really cute. The customer service was excellent. The food was excellent too and we had a great time at the beach barbeque.

Stayed for a week at this hotel and loved it. The rooms were a good size with a nice balcony and good sized bathroom. The beds may be a bit hard for some people - my daughter thought so but fine for me. There was some construction going on next door but only something on a small scale and didn t bother us. The pool was nice but sun loungers not always available because some people reserved them for long periods with their towels while not using them! A bit disappointing. However, we always found a sun lounger either on the beach or by the pool. The beach in front of the hotel is quite good and is roped off from jet skis. Not a lot of jet ski action though and when they are used they are a long way off shore. It is only a short walk - less than 100 meters to a jet ski and buoy free swimming area if it bothers you. There was a good choice for breakfast although my daughter was disappointed that maple syrup was not available. The staff were all nice - helpful and polite. Our only other complaint was there was a bit of rubbish on the beach that I thought could have been picked up on a regular basis. Great location - Lamai is a nice beach being a bit quieter than Chaweng. We were pleased we chose to stay at Lamai rather than Chaweng. Chaweng good to visit but too busy to stay there. Ate out at the hotel restaurant which was good - dinner on the beach recommended on the quilted loungers. Also nearby Utopia has great food and excellent value. Further down beach Rich Resort also very good. Liked the shopping in Lamai also. Would highly recommend this hotel and will return. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

nice place with good service. a bit more tightly packed together than the pics on the website suggest but good nonetheless. i d recommend Lamai over Chaweng as it still has a bit more of a relaxed pace and island feel yet all the convenience of chaweng. rooms don t have things like tea-making facilities etc but if you ask for them they might bring them...

I want to say that this was one of the best stays I have ever had in Thailand. My stay here was a surprise birthday present for my fiancee, she loved it. Everything from the staff to the room sizes were exactly as advertised.I even asked if the desk could find me a private driver for the day (i guess thats not common)and in a couple of hours, wha-la! With all the could stuff being said if i had to say something negative, it would be these two things. This resort really needs to work on there menu,the food was not bad, but the selection was not big and did not vary for those evenings on the beach. The second negative is, you dont charge guests for hotel slippers, robes and towels OK, but not slippers. Oh sorry there is a third they need some gym equipment. This is an excellent Resort, it s quiet, perfect for family s and couples. It is also a reasonable distance from the main party sites. I am planning on staying there again, next time i m in Samui. The 4 of us came for our 30th Birthdays and had a great time in this resort. Unlike some other reviews we didn t notice a lack of sun loungers, although the best spots were taken early! The setting is lovely, the rooms (we had villas) very nice indeed and the pool area is nice. It is on a lovely stretch of Lamai beach (further south is horrible, but further north has a lovely charm similar to quieter places on less developed Thai islands). The staff were helpful and attentive, espeically the beach bar and pool staff. The front desk staff arranged jeep hire and airport transfer will no hassle or dramas to us. The only negative was the overpriced pool side food and drink, and in general the evening beach dining was a let down food wise. Thankfully there are plenty of alternatives in the area (again, walk north up the beach for lovely beach front dining at good prices). All in all though, a lovely place and we would definately choose the resort again were we to return to Samui. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Dies war unsere 4. Reise nach Koh Samui und unser erster Aufenthalt im Thai House. Wir haben bewusst Lamai und ein kleineres Hotel gewählt, da wir mit einem kleinem Kind unterwegs waren. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals waren erstklassig. Auf alle Fragen gab es Antworten und Probleme , soweit vorhanden, wurden umgehend geregelt. Die Sauberkeit und die Qualität der Speisen waren ebenfalls 1a. Für uns war die ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, wir können dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Great Hotel, friendly staff, very comfortable and clean. Most amusing aspect was the Europeans race for the sun lounges each morning. The beach seemed as good as anywhere we found on Koh Samui and definately nicer than Chaweng. Night life was limited to slightly tacky open air bars filled with young thai girls all trained in pole-dancing etc...

name is Shaya Tamir. My wife, two friends and I just got back from Thailand and wanted to share with you our experience in this hotel. We made reservations for the hotel 3 months before the trip for 4 nights (20/2-24/2). When we got there, the manager told us that he has a room for us starting from the next day. He sent us to another hotel, a chipper one and with a lesser location (not on the beach). When we complained about this, he offered us a discount of 500 Batt in the hotel dinner (which worth about 1500 Batt in total). We declined and told him that his offer is not suitable. While we stayed in the hotel we noticed that other guests received a similar attitude from the hotel personal. Another issue we’ve noticed while we took walks on the beach was that the guests of this hotel were the only ones to wake up at 6 AM in order to find an available mattress and an umbrella simply because they did not have enough of them [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very enjoyable - room was clean and service was good. The beach was rough to swim in but this was to be expected at the time of year we were there. Quiet area and the massage people were great! Restaurants in the area were fantastic, but if you are looking for nightlife, this is limited.

The hotel is located on a very relaxed beach in Lamai. Great location and pool. Rooms were nice and clean with good sized private balcony (deluxe garden view). The on-site massage services were excellent and located right on the beach so that you could listen to the waves crash. Just stay away from the restaurant. The food was average and drinks were weak and expensive in terms of Thailand prices. There are so many better restaurant options within walking distance and around the island- there is no need to stay on-site. The restaurant staff likes to clear out the lounge chairs early (1500-1600) to make room for their on-the-sand dining. We were still wanting to get some more sun - so try and do that in early in the day. However, the desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good experience and we would return to this location in the future. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
