Nice place to stay,but at the top of a steep hill you will need to hire a scooter or a car for your stay,lovely view of the sea and very quiet.

I think overall the other comments are quite fair. Seafan is pretty much what we expected, we stayed for 2 days not the week we originally booked for as we found the resort and beach too quiet; it was the low season. For some people, I am sure, this would not be a problem. Overall the resort is a little past its best but it is generally clean and most things seem to work fine (We found that the showers were not hot and the phones didn t work). The restaurant is perhaps not the best value but the food is fine; there are a few other places around which we didn t try. Breakfast is O.K., the usual choices to an acceptable standard. We found the pool to be good though I thought the area that was the sunken bar could have been tidied up a bit. The garden around the pool is quite pretty a real highlight of Seafan, it looks very pretty at night when the coloured lights are switched on. Overall we found that Seafan is quite nice, for us though too far away from other facilities,restaurants etc, there isn t very much within walking distance. We thought the resorts services were a little expensive compared to other places on Samui.I m not sure Seafan is the best value on Samui but if you want a quiet relaxed time around a reasonable hotel pool and restaurant Seafan is for you.

Staff is extremely nice and accomodating. Bungalows are perfect if you re looking for something different from the usual sterile apartments in posh resorts. It s a bit on the rustic side but that just adds to the charm. If you re looking for a place with all the latest and greatest amenities, this is not the place for you. Our bungalow was right on the beach with air conditioning but no TV and the phone did not work but would definitely go back.

We really liked the hotel and enjoyed the calm and the lonelyness! It is a shame that the bungalows and the gangways really need a renovation and sometimes it is quite dangerous with holes and nails in the ways, but however, we have not seen another resort where the bungalows are so big and so far away from each other. There is a lot of space between them so you cant see in your neighbours window and that is exactly what we appreciated. The pool is nice and clean, staff is very friendly and always smiling (even some have problems with english), breakfast and food in the restaurant was good. Every day fresh towels for the beach, sunbeds on the beach and very less people, that was relaxation! Massage on the beach with very funny and nice ladies, internet for 1 Baht per minute, table tennis and pool billard (not in best condition). Not very good for children because the water is very deep from the first step on and there are waves. The center of Meanam is 20 minutes walk away, supermarket nearby. I recommend the Seafan for people who want it relaxed and quiet and do not expact too much luxury and entertainment. I would come back! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

this hotel is really well located the garden is wonderfull and the bungalows are big but this hotel is really very old and falling appart, it really need to be redone very quickly.The sheets and the towels are grey instead of white because too old .Our bedspread was all tear , every morning the lady was hidding it under the bed so we won t see it. it really needs some work to be again a very nice place to stay, but right now the price is a little too expansive for the confort of the bungalows.

A very nice resort where the bungalows are spacious and functions well.It was cleaned every day and the towels were shifted every day. The curtains could do with a wash or better be changed. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was good and prices reasonable. Beach and pool area was exelent. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Anlage ist großzügig und schön,nur bei den vielen Holzstegen u. Terrassen muß man Altersbedingt vorsichtig sein das man nicht duchbricht.Strand ist dafür breit u. Menschenleer.Meer ist für Nichtschwimmer nicht geeignet,da man nach ca.4m nicht mehr stehen kann.Dafür ist der Pool für Kinder sehr schön.Bungalows sind sehr geräumig,Strandtücher u. Handtücher täglich neu,Personal freundlich,Essen gut,Im großen u. ganzen ein ruhiger u. erholsamer Urlaub.
